The location is excellent, with a large park right outside the hotel and a tram stop nearby. However, I was scheduled to check in at 2 PM, but my room wasn't ready until 3:30 PM. Also, for consecutive nights, there's no daily cleaning, and you only get one bath towel initially. Getting a new one incurs an additional charge of 5€, which was disappointing.

Fast check-in. Good location, a bit secluded but close to essential services and 10 minutes from the city center. Approximately 25 minutes walk to Museumplein or Amstel train station. Nice activities and amenities for all ages. Direct access to Oosterpark.

It’s close to the center; there is a curtain—albeit a small one—that provides privacy. It was the first time I’d ever seen a three-tier bunk bed. It looks nice because it is located inside the park; you can go for a walk in the park.

I stayed in a pod at this property for four nights. All pods are situated in the basement, which I found to be consistently damp and cold. While restrooms are separated by gender, the shower facilities are shared. The condition of the shower area was a significant issue. Out of approximately seven faucets, only two were functional. Furthermore, the drainage system frequently backed up, causing water to pool around my ankles while showering. The floor was perpetually wet; I never observed it being dry during my entire stay. The power supply to the pods was also unreliable, with frequent outages. On the first night, a blackout prevented device charging. The following morning at 7:34 AM, cleaning staff began vacuuming. Despite several guests attempting to intervene in French, the noise continued without pause. Service at the front desk was notably inefficient. Essential items like hairdryers must be borrowed, but they are limited in quantity and often unavailable. Staff attitudes were generally dismissive. Please also be advised that the property charges an additional fee for luggage storage.

This hotel is located in East Park, which has a nice environment, but it's quite a distance from the city center, which isn't very convenient. Unlike most hostels in Europe, this one doesn't have a shared kitchen, so I wouldn't recommend staying for several days. A one-night stay is acceptable.

The room was very clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The toilet and shower room were separate, which was very reasonable for six people as it allowed us to stagger our usage times. The staff at the front desk and the lobby bar were lovely and enthusiastic. You could order food, coffee, and drinks, or simply ask for hot water to make your own instant noodles, coffee, or tea for free. The most unique feature of this youth hostel is the tiered lecture hall from a university located behind the central lobby. You can sit alone at a 'classroom' desk to read, work on your computer, or use your phone, or gather with a few friends. It's truly distinctive! As an old aunt who graduated from university nearly 40 years ago, being here felt like traveling back in time to my youth. ❤️

The location is great only about 300 to 400 meters from the bus stop. It’s close to the park, so the area is quiet. The window view is amazing, and I really enjoyed the vibe of the room.　However,　the lift uses a touch-sensitive control panel, which was quite difficult to operate， several of us had trouble getting it to respond. Also, the shower in our room didn’t drain properly, so we could only take very short showers before the water started to pool, which was uncomfortable, especially since the room itself was quite cold. In addition, the bed made squeaking noises whenever we lay down.

The stay was 10/10 will highly recommend. The staff was really nice and suggested us some good places to visit and it was all worth it. The rooms were quite spacious and clean. Really loved the stay was totally worth it.

Worst hostel ever stayed in. Cleanliness was pathetic shower door broken and no basic toiletries. Location wasn't great either

Stuffy rooms with black mold, reception gaslights that this is normal en not mold. Other room had the same.

I didn't get a wink of sleep for three consecutive nights. My roommates were constantly coming in and out past 2 AM, and the noise from them pulling out the under-bed drawers was incredibly loud. This went on for all three nights, making it impossible for me to get any basic sleep. If you're on the top bunk, there aren't even curtains for privacy, so when a roommate turned on the bright overhead light at 2 AM, I was immediately woken up. I absolutely do not recommend this place; it's the worst hostel I've ever stayed in.

Good place , in terms of cheap prices , we had a good stay there , staff was very polite and friendly

Decent hotel, but nickel and dime you for everything. Great atmosphere, but it was super busy full of youth travelling with schools. Overall, it was ok, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless price is good.
