Although this holiday with Jet2 Holidays seemed like a bargain it was not the quality accommodation you would expect from this tour operator. Where to start? Lakis was what you might describe as lacking! Our visit was at the very start of the season and the property appeared not to have been prepared for the season ahead. - Outdoor area looked like it hadn't been touched in terms of 'sprucing up', (even though it was the beginning of the season) ie handrails had paint flaking off, poolside tables were not in place, stacked in a corner by the side of the building, umbrellas not in place, sunbeds, after use, were left disorganised all throughout the week. Pool cleaned only once. - Our room - Bed sheets and towels changed only once. Shower door dislodged but fixed and then dislodged again to the point where Lakis took it away and didn't return it. No plug for the bathroom washbasin, didn't bother asking, managed without. Shower tray appeared dirty but was just very well worn with paint flaking away from the front of the tray onto the floor. Only one suitably placed socket for charging, hairdryer, etc. We had a poolside room which we had paid extra for, believing it would be a bit better than the other rooms, but not so. Room was dull and brown with a small TV high up on the wall with no English speaking channels, despite the fact all his guests were JET2 customers! Wi-fi very poor unless you sat outside the bar area which at night wasn't ideal as it was cold and inhospitable should you want to watch a film etc. Storage space almost non-existent. My clothes spent the whole week folded on top of my suitcase by the side of the bed as there were only 2 drawers by each side of the bed which were small so only underwear, swimwear and night wear storage. Wardrobe with small number of hangers OK but not enough to hang everything, so take your own if you don't want your clothes creased from folding and living on top of your suitcase! - Kitchen area - Utensils sp****, no spatula should you wish to fry bacon for breakfast, no egg cups, no tea towel. Generally no space to place things like plates whilst preparing food. - Bar area was very unwelcoming. Lakis could have done more to attract guests. During the day he spent time sitting outside talking to friends and in the bar at night on his laptop. This was not seen by other guests there as a welcoming gesture. - Annaxos was out of the way, just a main road running through and not much within walking distance open in terms of places to eat, only 2 restaurants. The beach was only a few minutes walk away but nothing whatsoever open to eat or drink. Things were just starting to open up as we left. This property should not have been advertised for use at the time of year we went. Most of the guests at Lakis used the facilities at Annaxos Gardens property literally 2 minutes walk from Lakis. We had a lovely week at Lakis Studios. As there are only 10 studios it is never busy around the pool. It is a perfect place to relax Lakis is amazing. He meets every one of your needs. As soon as you wanted a drink he was there and when we ordered lunch he made sure you got what you wanted and addressed our fussy daughter’s order. Anaxos is a very quiet resort. We were there in August and were surprised how quiet it was. There are plenty of lovely restaurants but when we went to a bar afterwards we were often the only ones there.

Just returned from a magnificent 2 week holiday at The Lakis Studios in Anaxos. During our time there we met some lovely fellow guests who made our latest visit to this place even better. The place is typically Greek with odd cutlery, glassware and crockery. Rooms are basic with Air con costing an additional 8 euros per day. The place is very clean and the pool very inviting during those hot periods. The owner, Lakis, is a complete gentleman and is so hardworking with everything done quickly. Food and drinks are excellent value for money with fantastic breakfasts and super sandwiches. My wife had a different cocktail every night. Lakis is well supported by his wife, daughters and extended family which makes you feel you are part of a big greek family. Lakis always takes time to listen to your questions and offer practical advice and nothing is too much trouble. We have been to many different places across Greek and this is one of our favourites. If you want a five star hotel and to party all night this is NOT a place for you. If you want to unwind, relax and enjoy fantastic hospitality then I suggest you give it a try!

Been back a week from a great 2 weeks stay at Lakis studios. We had a direct pool access studio with 2 lovely comfortable Sunbeds and a table and chairs outside our room. Our room was very basic but comfortable and spotlessly clean and our bed sheets and towels were changed regularly. We had a fridge, 2 ring hob (never used) and enough kitchen equipment. We paid extra for air conditioning which was worth every penny. The bathroom is quiet small. There’s a bar where you can order great breakfasts and snacks and the bar stays open as long as someone is drinking. Gabriel and Kiki were great hosts and if there’s a problem they sort it straight away. Had a brilliant stay and met some nice people. We would definitely go back and pay for a direct pool access room again.

My stay at Lakis studios was most enjoyable. Very friendly place. I was a solo traveler but not once did I feel alone. The whole family help to run the place always smiling. Nice pool area . Rooms are basic which is expected for the price but comfortable shower could do with modernising but not a deal breaker. . Bar served tasty snacks. Short walk to the beach .restaurants nearby. Lakis and his family are very welcoming . Anaxos is a traditional Greek village ,very layed back . Would I stay here again? Yes!

Great hotel and area with lots of superb restaurants. The rooms were clean and the pool area lovely. The hotel bar was friendly and relaxing. Highly recommended for couples and people just wanting a relaxing holiday.

Rooms are very basic but clean. Lakis and his family can’t do enough for their guests. Friendly bars and restaurants all around. Lakis makes a great omelette. Seaside of Anaxos restaurant snack bar, do great meals. All in all, if you want a relaxing holiday, this is the place to go. Not for children or teenagers. There was nothing really for them to do, so mostly adults.

Went here with my Mum for a week's relaxing holiday, and it was exactly that! Lakis is very helpful, any help you need he is there! The rooms are basic, comfy beds, nice balcony, lovely and clean. The pool is great and plenty of sunbeds. We loved that there are only 10 rooms at this hotel. The area is very quiet, perfect for a relaxing beach holiday. Some nice places to visit nearby either by foot or car. Nothing negative to say!

We spent the day here even though we weren’t staying at the studios. We enjoyed a lovely lunch with hot homemade chips. The best in the resort we’d tasted. The owner was really friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We enjoyed many cocktails that were the cheapest we’d had all week, and the nicest. Would definitely stay here again if we came back.
