Very nice experience at the beachfront hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is very friendly. Far from tourist places and the port.

We dined one evening. My chicken scallops with potatoes and cucumber was pleasant as was the lechon kawali served to my companion. Ambience was good but there were only five other diners. The resort has a white sand beach that is pristine and well lit.

We stumbled across this place by cahance wslking along the beach and I’m so glad we found it! It was a fabulous place to dine and enjoy a cocktail. The staff were so welcoming and the food was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble, staff and the owner were great, if we weren’t booked up I would most definitely have stayed here, would highly recommend it!

The first night we were there. Something in the bed was making both of us itch like crazy. I had to get up and put a shirt on so I could go back to sleep. So I sent an email to the owner. Cause we are on a trip.. That place is 2 and a 1/2 hours out from anything. No restaurants nothing. It cost you thirty five hundred pesos to get there and thirty five hundred to get to port. You are trapped on that resort. If you wanna do an excursion, that's another five thousand pesos. And they will nickel and dime you from everything. The second night we had ants in the bed. The owner who is a overweight overbearing german, who thinks he's god. He is rude and he ruined my vacation there with insulting me saying I did not schedule a way home early. His filipino wife had to straighten him out that I did. I'm feel sorry for her having to feed him and put up his crap. I would not go there. They could not give me a free night if I wanted too. No free coffee either.

Beautiful and relaxing location. We rented the Garden house with nice terrace, which included everything what we might needed. It got spacious bedroom with nice bathroom. I appreciated minibar with cold beverages re-filled every day during cleaning. Smiling and helpful staff just supported our overall great experience. Food was tasty as well. Lastly, there are beautiful sea/beach view spots with nice sittings, sun-beds as well as great massage place (don’t leave without full body thai massage). Everything was on point and I can’t give less than 5/5.

We had a last minute booking but Ralf was quite accommodating over the phone. Got there late at night and the staff made us feel welcome right away. We booked the family studio and the 2 ocean front apartments, which were just the right size for everyone in the group. The apartments did have an ant issue in the bathroom, but the staff responded quickly. There are 4 medium sized dogs on the property who like to hang around the table while you’re dining, which was one of the highlights for the kids. Every morning of our stay, folks from our group walked from the resort all the way to Alona Beach and encountered some fascinating sea and shore creatures such as crabs and starfish. Top marks for J & R!

Warm welcome by the owners Jilo, Ralf, and staff. Excellent accommodation, good food. The entire hotel and soft landscaping is spotlessly clean. There is also a well maintained Koi Carp pond. We were in room 7, plenty of space, and a nice view out to sea. The swimming pool is well maintained. You can walk to the local town along the beach when the tide is out. We visited the Save & Earn shop. They kindly sorted a problem with my local "Smart" Sim Card and topped it up for me.

Beyond my wildest expectations. I retired in the Philippines and have had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout this beautiful country. Resorts in the Philippines can be a hit or miss proposition. Unfortunately most severely lack in the areas of customer service, cleanliness and basic maintenance. The concept of pocketing every peso over reinvesting into the property unfortunately seems to be the norm. The great news is this resort is a unicorn. You feel at home as soon as you arrive. The owners personally great you and show you to your room. The rooms are tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean and modern. The restaurant's menu is extensive and the quality and presentation above par. My only complaint was they allowed smoking in the restaurant area (only place I've ever seen that allowed in the Philippines). Would I recommend this resort to friends and family? I think you already know the answer to that question. 😊

This is the kind of place where you bring a book and enjoy the serenity of the hotel. You won't find any tv's here, which I find to be a good thing. The food was excellent with lots of choices and there are plenty of fresh drinks to choose from. I would not recommend this place to a family with small children though. The pool is quite deep and the whole place feels more like a place where you go to relax. The beach isn't the nicest either, they keep it clean below the hotel but if you want to go swimming in the ocean you have to walk far.
