"This is the worst stay of my life. The AC is noisy but doesn’t cool. A clammy feeling in all the rooms. Looks like it is 20 plus years old but is less than one year old. Shower was not clean, multiple jacked up places on the walls. There is no way to have any reading light - either lights off or enough light to do brain surgery. Front desk chic was coughing into her hand and then handling room cards, driver license and credit cards. Coughing into the crook of your arm has apparently not made it to Oak Ridge yet. I literally washed my DL and key cards with hot water and soap when I got to my third clammy room after two changes to no avail. DO NOT STAY HERE !!!"

"OK, if breakfast can be improved, it would be fine."

"The breakfast is varied and the menu changes every day. The room is clean and the location is good. However, the air conditioning and heating do not adjust the temperature well; it is either too hot or too cold."

"If you are stopping in Clinton TN while traveling and you are just looking for a decent place to lay your head and get some rest. This place is fine. Nothing special, nothing bad. The staff are a nice family. The room is clean, serviceable, and has comfortable beds. Lowest price of the 6 or so choices in the area. I would stay again."

"I have stayed here a few times and the front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. There were a few cosmetic issues in the room and bathroom. The walk-in shower had a bath mat that had not been taken up and cleaned in a very long time as there was mold all in the drain holes of the bath mat. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would stay here again if needed."

"I know that reviews seldom lead to any improvements, but hopefully this one will help save someone some money if they were planning on staying here. The young man at the counter named Sean was very pleasant and efficient. That was the highlight of the stay. The hotel is dated, but that doesn’t bother me as long as it’s maintained, as this property USED to be. Now, clearly there are different owners with a much lower standard of cleanliness. On the surface, it appears clean, but if you look closer, you can tell that the details aren’t there. It’s the start of a slide backwards into unclean and unsanitary conditions that often occurs when those with lower cleanliness standards run a hotel. The shower floor was almost black. It was clear that it hadn’t been scrubbed or thoroughly cleaned in a long time The breakfast was sad, paltry and meager. There was some bread, a generic flaked cereal, an odd steamed egg substance and greasy, unappealing sausage patties. There was a waffle iron, but the mixture tasted funny. The coffee is in an automatic type machine. It tasted horrid and was lukewarm coming out. Based on the lack of cleanliness in the rest of the hotel, I doubt this complex coffee machine is regularly sanitized. The bed was hard. That may appeal to some, but it was very uncomfortable to me. The pillows are small little throw pillow sized things with no shape or support. Spend $30 more and go right up the road to the Holiday Inn or Hampton. You’ll be glad you did."

"Hotel was nice and clean. Hotel seems to be undergoing renovations. The only inconvenience was I had forgotten my hairdryer and there was not a hairdryer in the bathroom which I found to be odd because almost every motel/hotel have hairdryer’s in their bathroom’s. Overall it was a nice stay. I would stay here again if I needed to."

"Close this place down. We paid more for this room than in a Red Roof in Corbin, KY. Our couch was so old & dirty I would not put my purse on it. I wondered when the blanket on the bed was last laundered. There was no ice & the ice machine looked like it was made in 1950, was turned off with no sign on it to instruct how to get ice. An office chair was sitting outside a room. Other fixtures & furniture were stored next to a stairwell. There was only decaf coffee in the room & the staffer said they had not had regular coffee packets in a week. For this place to be so close to Knoxville & other better hotel chains, this is the last Red Roof we will stay in for a cheap overnight stop on a long road trip."
