On arrival we had to wait almost an hour to get into our room as they said it wasn’t ready. (Bearing in mind we were 1 1/2hrs late due to traffic!) On entering our room we were shocked to find the dire state of it!!! It was unclean mess all over the floor, architrave was off the door frame and the door didn’t close/lock properly, the decor was awful, the tv didn’t work nor did the hairdryer. they did supply me with another that worked for approximately 2 mins if I was lucky! The beds weren’t made up I had to do this myself. No toilet roll was supplied until day 5! Lamp shades were missing and the lights didn’t work properly, also the spot lights in the bigger room didn’t work at all, in fact the whole electrics were worrying so we made sure everything was off when we were out! Decor is extremely dated and tired! We asked the staff not to enter our room as we were so disappointed, yet they still did and didn’t even clean just emptied the bins! The noise from party people coming back from bars clubs is relentless from between 1-3am. We don’t mind a party, but every night being woken up was beyond a joke! Shouting, swearing and singing so loud waking everyone up. This is a 2* hotel and even that is generous! They took 3 payments of £128 off my credit card got deposit Which I did get returned, but no explanation why they took 3 payments when I asked! Staff are non existent and the bar is never open! There is a bucket near reception due to a constant leak coming through 7 floors! If your a young group that doesn’t care and wants cheap and dreadful fine. If not my advise is find somewhere else.

We stopped here as a family of 4 over new year 2023. The pros, plenty of space for a family of 4 (we had a one bed apar**ent, kids in single beds in living room), nice and warm all the time, good powerful shower and plenty of hot water, all utensils, microwave and fridge freezer, comfy beds and great location to the slopes and bars/restaurants. Bar downstairs selling decent priced drinks and snacks. Cons: we had no duvet until day 6 despite me constantly asking, apparently it was on order? Bit of a language barrier. Eventually the crystal rep got involved and it got sorted. When I say duvet, there was no sheets/blankets etc, just a bottom fitted sheet, I’m not sure how the room could be classed as ready for guests without bedding. The noise was quite bad, after reading the reviews before hand we brought ear plus with us and we did need them! Lots of group of youngsters coming back from nights out, shouting etc, don’t blame them at all but it’s tricky when you’ve got a mixture of clientele. Chairs broken and tv didn’t work in our room. But this was cheap accommodation so we weren’t expecting much. On the plus side we still had a great holiday, kids loved it, plenty of snow towards the end of the week. Pas is a great resort. If you’re travelling without kids in a group I’d definitely recommend this place for the price 👍🏼

Not a good start on arrival I had to wait 2 hours for the room to be available. Luckily it was happy hour at the bar ! I was pleasantly surprised with the Appar**ent a double bedroom with a separate dinning area kitchen. Plenty of space for 2 people. Everything was clean and well maintained. Some noise from other Appar**ent’s but not to bad. A small supermarket attached to the hotel next door has excellent pastries, saves the walk to the spar. All in all good value for money and I will return.

We stayed January 3rd to 8th 2023. On arrival there is a fair walk up the winding hill from the bus stop. Our luggage was taken up by van. Although there were a lot of people arriving at the same time the check in and ski hire was fairly quick. Pay your deposit by credit card NOT cash. When leaving you have to wait for your room to be checked before they return the cash making us late for the bus and resulting in our luggage being left on the floor at the bus stop unattended and soaking wet. We were on the 4th floor and grateful for the elevator. The room was clean and warm but could do with a revamp. There was a hairdryer, microwave, hob, kettle, cutlery etc. There was a socket hanging off the wall and we soon realised the bathroom towel radiator didn't work. On the final day the main electric radiator also failed. All the staff were friendly and courteous at all times. One even paid for my partners coffee as she didn't have change!! There is a long walk back down to the bottom of the slopes but there is a shortcut 100 yards down through an alley between the bars where you can ski to the bottom. Overall we had a great holiday and learned to ski at a fantastic price. We saved £1000 staying at the manzano compared to the next cheapest hotel which covered our food. We would definitely stay here again.

Traveled here with crystal so there was a distinct lack of information before I booked. The flight and transfer was great, no toilets on bus but you do stop for a break half way. Now, when you arrive at Pas De La Casa you get off the bus at the bottom of the hill, your bags are then stacked high in a separate van and transported to your hotel. You then have to follow a rep up the hill at a pace she is used to, but due to the altitude you are not!! So keep up as all she did was call out the names of every hotel as she passed them without stopping. Manzano is almost at the top of the hill, but honestly the climb is not that bad if you don’t rush. On arrival you have to check in and pay a E150 deposit (card or cash), have pictures taken of all adult passports and you bags eventually turn up outside. No ski/board gear is allowed upstairs so this has to be put in the ample sized ski lockers. There is no heated boot rack, just shelves, but surprisingly all dry and warm in the morning. Now the room, we had a small safe there, just big enough to hold passports and phones or a wii switch, you can’t fit a tablet in there unless its small. No deposit needed. The decor is dated and desperately needs a revamp, its like the 70/80s in there. Very thing has had a repair, not a replacement, but, when you hear about how some of the big party groups have behaved and you see the covered holes in doors, walls and cracked glass, do you blame them? There is a list of all contents and prices to replace on the door of apar**ent and a list of rules on the 1990 style yellow plastic microwave. Our kettle had worn wires from the base to the plug and can see the insulation wearing, kettle was also yellow after originally being white. Bathroom…. Omg!!! Black mould on ceiling, toilet would not flush everything away, took 3-4 flushes. Water was hot and shower over the bath was ok, just sure shower curtain is inside the bath. They don’t like to give you toilet roll for some reason here, 5 of us in the room and we were given 2 rolls for the week, when asked for more, was told “there is a shortage of toilet roll in the whole resort!” Funny thing was, the supermarkets were stacked high with them !!! Beds were comfortable, duvet was hot, too hot for me as were the rooms and could not find a way to reduce temp. Duvet covers were not sealed at feet so by the morning they were almost half way up the duvet. We didn’t even attempt to cook in the apar**ent, we ate out. Breakfast downstairs was ok, good sausages and bacon E12.50 Main meals in Pas average E15pp deserts E6-8pp beer 33cl for E4. On the mountain about the same price. Best breakfast we had was at the Boulangerie Artisan just by the gondola on Av d’encamp Very icy slopes on pas side when there, much better conditions over the other side of mountain. If there is good snow and you are capable, you can ski back close to the apar**ents saving a walk up the hill, or you can get off at the highest building on the

My wife, 10 year old son and I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Manzano Apar**ents in Pas de la Casa. Bear in mind, this venue has a 2 Star rating, so don't expect 4 or 5 star style decor or standard etc We rolled the dice and booked this 6 weeks before we went and we were a little concerned by some of the reviews, particularly about the noise element. Talking from our own experience, we wasn't disturbed at all by any other guests, which was a surprise given about 50 students checked in just after us! (We did learn that some other guests were affected by the students, students being the stereotypical students, loud music and parties until 5am in the rooms, throwing food out of the window and onto the rooms windows below) The only noise we had that did wake us up was people walking home late at night. obviously after a load of alcohol. This isn't a reflection of the apar**ents, you could have the same experience in any hotel or apar**ent in the resort. So it is likely you'll experience that anywhere, especially closer into the town centre. We had to pay a €150 deposit upon checking in which we did via credit card although cash was an option. This is refunded at the end of your stay, assuming you've not trashed the place and all the electrical appliances work. Naturally, we were ok but it was a struggle to get a credit note / acknowledgment slip saying so from the chap on the desk, as it seemed a bit out of the ordinary for such a request. Why i dont know but i did get one in the end. The decor in our room, which was a 1 bedroom apar**ent with twin beds in it and another set of twin beds in the living area plus pull down sofa, was quite dated and a lovely bright pink which seemed to be a theme throughout. That didn't bother us at all and the whole apar**ent was clean enough. Again, this is 4 or 5 star. There's a bar on the ground floor which we didn't use and i can't imagine many would, another than for a quick beer before heading out to the proper bars or a beer after a day on the slopes. Location wise, for the slopes it's 95% ideal. A short walk to the slope via an obvious cut through which you can't fail to miss. It's close enough to the main bars etc but far enough away not to be effected all night, save for my previous comment about late night disturbance from people walking back. There is a ski hire shop directly below the apar**ent block which you access it from inside and you then place your skis and boots in your own room's very amply sized locker, located on the ground floor. We travelled with Crystal Ski and because the coaches arent allowed in the village, you get dropped at the main bus stop and walk to you place of stay. (This isn't a Crystal thing, it is everyone) As you can probably imagine, its all up hill but thankfully, a transit van takes your luggage to your digs. Ours got to Manzano before we did, much to our surprise and delight. Its worth noting that the same process occurs when you leave at the end of your sta

We had a 1 bedroom apar**ent for 5, double bed in the bedroom and 3 single beds I'm the main room. We are a family with a 16 and 17 year old. The beds were the best we've ever had, the apar**ents were spotless and check in very quick and easy. We were greeted warmly and the service throughout was excellent. We booked the breakfasts add on and we're happy with it. Juice, cereal, cheeses, variety of croissants, yoghurt and cooked breakfast available each day. It's a short down hill walk to the slopes onto a blue run to the lifts. The apar**ents are great value for money and kept very well with friendly owners. There can be some noise at night with people returning from the pubs, bit that is the sane all over Pas

Went with a group of 18 from Ireland for a week ski holiday. Rooms are very basic but shower is powerful and always hot so it was perfect for what we needed and the time we spent there. We rarely ate breakfast but it is readily available every morning. With the ski package we had booked we were able to get our ski equipment in the hotel the first morning and you are assigned a ski locker for the week at the back of the hotel which is extremely handy to store all of your gear. The bar area is quiet but we often got drinks there before we headed out at night. Special shout-out to barman/receptionist Pedro from Argentina. He greeted everyone everyday with a smile and offered help and advice with whatever any of us wanted. He was the highlight of the hotel for us and made us all feel at home, we all wish him well in his future travels!

With 3 kids we are always skiing on a budget and the Manzano apar**ents were just right for us. Close to the slopes and a short ski to the ski school the location was just right. The apar**ents are tight for space and pretty basic but we are there to ski, not to sit in the room. My only ****** was that the rooms were a bit shabby, the kitchen and bathrooms were clean but in need of replacing and my parents had lose electric sockets hanging out if the wall in their bathroom which need some attention. The beds were crisp, clean and comfortable and there are pictures/art hung on the wall that are not in keeping with the hotel style. Despite all this you get what you pay for and for us location is everything. It's just outside the town centre and with Pas's reputation for its nightlife we were glad of this. Our room was front facing and we were woken up a few nights with party goers returning to their accomodations out on the street being noisy but we weren't surprised by this. My parents room was at the back and had no problems with noise. We went half board and were sent to 'Sens' the sister restaurant down the road where the food was super tasty, plentiful and the staff got to know us and treated the kids like royalty. Great half board experience. Lastly I would like to say how friendly the staff are. The cleaners were courteous, approachable and friendly. The chef and bar staff spoke great English, interacted beautifully with the kids making them laugh and nothing was too much trouble. They really did make our stay, they got to know our drinks and were able to help with any help or info we needed creating a comfortable and friendly a**osphere. Thanks guys!
