Cozy, quiet 2nd-story getaway located next to the ski area. TINY -- for only 1 person or for a couple. Modern but VERY DATED and very rustic condo among several in the building and area. Full galley kitchen with dining at the counter or outside medium-sized deck. NO TV SERVICES AT ALL. Queen bed in a separate bedroom and a bathroom with a shower/bathtub located in the hall between the living room and bedroom. Enjoy a wood-burning fireplace, wifi, and free parking right outside.Located in the Village of Angel Fire on the way to the Ski Area.A fully stocked grocery store is located conveniently a half-mile away for your provisions; and multiple food joints nearby, as well as along the main street a little further away.The very high altitude and "dry" climate can cause nose bleeds and/or dry sinuses, and even headaches. If sensitive to that, bring nose moisturizer and appropriate medication. And body lotion.The hot water heater works well for the shower and kitchen sink. It's potable water but bring bottled water if the tap water is not your preference -- lots of minerals. I cook and wash with it but I drink bottled water only when I'm there.The stairway and door constitute a private entry.I will provide you with a passcode for the deadlock. It is in a condominium building with other condos and condominium buildings around. The balcony is a decent size but runs flush against the next-door neighbor's -- so there may be limited privacy out there.The stairway is a bit steep so Tree Top is best suited for ADULT GUESTS ONLY -- no children and pets. It can be slippery with snow and rain -- so please be careful!The condo complex no longer provides satellite TV services. There is no smart TV or Roku.However, I believe the internet connection is strong enough to support those services -- BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP WITH YOU."Tree Top" (my tiny condo home) is where you connect with nature, peace, each other, and yourself.To walk/hike, to ski, to read, to journal, to talk to one another, to rest/relax/recover/restore/recup - and to interact through games/puzzles.There are books and games inside and the great outdoors right out the door.You can build a fire and watch it, or fill up the hummingbird feeder and watch them.Everyday I hike. Just walk out the door and walk the opposite way on Vail Ave - and you will find wonderful and inspiring forest and views.I go for miles up and then back - and I even lose weight every time I'm there 'cause it is such a workout. (BRING WATER WITH YOU).But you can also drive in your vehicle up there. Grill hamburgers, hotdogs, steak or make s’mores on the Fire Pit! On the large, covered back deck, you’ll find a large table, chairs & a propane grill for those bad weather days. This cabin offers central heat, wood burning stove, tankless hot water heater (endless HOT water), front loading washer and dryer (bring detergent), WIFI, Smart TVs and DVD players in every room & a fully stocked kitchen! There’s plenty of seating around the bar & dining table for the whole family. I have provided a portable crib, high chair, infant tub, tub toys & children’s books for infant & toddlers. Big Bear Camp Ground is located in the upstairs loft. Underage campers will find puzzles, games, toys, activity books, children’s books, movies & a game console for endless hours of entertainment. This is a GREAT family vacation home! Upstairs has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 2 guest bedrooms have queen beds and the master has a king with a in suite bathroom and TV. The open floor plan includes a gorgeous dining table that seats 8. Dining room opens to the fully equipped kitchen which has a large counter bar area and seats 4 more. The living area is large and includes a fireplace and 60" TV. This open space is also accompanied by large windows to see the passing deer, chipmunks, hummingbirds, and elk. Downstairs has another large living area with fireplace, TV, & ping pong table. It has 2 extra large bedrooms. The first bedroom has outstanding bunk beds with queen mattresses on top and bottom. Kids love this room! The 2nd bedroom has 2 queen beds. Downstairs also features a laundry room with washer and dryer and a bathroom. Sliding doors open to the beautiful wooded area behind the house. Our 2,600 sqft cabin was just recently renovated and boasts a spacious and open living, dining and kitchen. We are located less than a mile from the Angel Fire Country Club and Monte Verde lake, and 1.7 miles from the base of the ski lifts. Fiber internet is provided, which is great for those who want to work remotely. *Hot tub is a $100 fee for the entire stay should you want to use it. You will need to state if you want to use the hot tub in the comment section when you initially book the property and the fee will be added. The living area has three comfy couches to provide generous seating and includes a gaming zone with shuffleboard, foosball and various board games. The master bedroom is spacious and includes a desk work space, pull out couch, ensuite bathroom, his and hers sinks, and plenty of closet space. The first guest bedroom is also spacious with an ensuite bathroom. The house includes a bunk room, that is perfect for kids or teenagers to hang out and play Xbox or Wii.
