Relatively small rooms where it can be a challenge to put away your luggage if on a long stay. Rooms by the road are noisy. Airco doesn’t work and it gets hot and humid on Terceira. Nice roof top bar but a few parasols for shade wouldn’t hurt. Good restaurant with a very sharply price menu of the day. Good location in the very center of Angra. Taxi stop right in front of the hotel.

I was offered a 'quiet' room to the back as by receptions own admission front rooms were noisy due to cobblestone roads. The room was directly over aircon system, generating a constant hum even with windows closed. The bathroom is badly designed, with tight toilet situation. Despite rooms appearing available on booking websites, reception stated I could not move for first two nights. I was told I would be moved further along corridor. On my lateish return, I was then allocated a room to the street - even noisier than before. In addition, despite the manger originally claiming all bathroom designs were the same, this turned out to be inaccurate as the room I was moved to had a well-designed bathroom. Basically, I feel I was just messed around by reception, creating stress and spoiling the last days of the holiday and for the above reasons would not recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised with the lodging options available in Terceira. This Ecolodge is a small & unique Lodge that offers several wood cabins and a villa. Each cabin has artwork from different artists. I did not find it particularly suited for a family, given the cabins are beautiful but quite small. It was fun staying there, and I must say breakfast was very good, but a couple of issues should be taken into consideration: there is no restaurant nearby, so you will need a car. Mind heavy luggage, you will carry it up the woods until your cabin. The walkway is slippery, and it rains a lot - yes, all the time. We managed a quick swim in the pool, which is as nice as it is photogenic. There were no pool towels available for the three of us, only one. We had some coffee on the cabin, that we used, but they did not have more to provide us with, although they have a small shop next to reception, which for me is inconceivable, as well... I like my coffee. And I don't mind paying for it. Friendly, interesting, different, but with some small issues to solve.

This is how you can leave your car at the hotel and have the opportunity to try the Azorian wines. It was far from our best residence and breakfast of our 6 visiting islands (Sao Miguel,,Terceira, Graciosa, Sao Jorge, Pico and Faial). We would have liked to stay there for a day, but our planning for inland flights and boat connections was not allowed, because there are not all the days. flight and boat connections with all islands (after Terceira, Graciosa). If we come back to the Azores, it's first Terceira, With Atlantida Mar. We stayed in a junior suite for just 2 nights on the 7th and 8th of June. Made use of the outdoor pool and hot tub. Very friendly reception. Excellent buffet breakfast with a large choice, including fresh fruit. The goods were constantly replenished. Very nice hotel, well-equipped with a beautiful pool and a clean garden. Taktic position because it is just a few steps from the center and the beach, with internal parking for the cars (if you come back late night you might find it full, but there is so much space in the street and the car is needed on these The staff is very friendly and willing to meet the client's demands. We were lucky for the apartment because we had a garden view, very quiet and at the first floor with balcony: spacious and clean (weather change possible even every day by wishing). Very recommended!

The hotel is right in front of the beach and harbour. It is clean and the staff are friendly. They will give you towels for the beach if you ask A room with a sea and harbour view is worth paying the extra for. Breakfast is nice but the same every day. You can catch the bus to other areas of the island, which is easy and only a few euros. Only 10 minutes from the airport. You can get the bus for a euro or taxi for 10 euros. Restaurants and bars are close by. Managed to find some vegetarian food but not much. The local wine is nice and low priced. Little fridge in the room for cold drinks but no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

We did not actually stay at this hotel, but I had an interaction that is worth mentioning. We were exploring the area in front of the hotel when I had a mishap. Nothing major, but I certainly needed some attention. We entered the hotel seeking some assistance, and the front desk staff could not have been more helpful. I'm sure they knew we weren't guests there, but that didn't matter. I'm sure that level of service is also extended to anyone staying there.
