Because it was a three-day weekend, the breakfast area was extremely crowded. Elevators were slow to arrive, and even when they did come, they were full, so some people had to wait for them to leave. However, it was reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area, which was a relief.

I had a very comfortable stay! Excellent value for money! Considering the price, which included breakfast, the location was very reasonable, being close to the station, clean, and including breakfast. The front desk staff and dining staff were all kind and pleasant. I was surprised that the breakfast area was so crowded, perhaps because it was a busy season, but I was able to take breakfast back to my room, which was great!

I probably won't come back a second time. Strange noises kept coming from the room every day, and I couldn't stand it the second night, so I checked into the Dormy Inn next door. The breakfast was nothing special, just edible. Overall, I'd suggest spending a little more to go to the inn next door.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was cold, so I was very grateful that plum kelp tea was provided as an amenity. Although check-in and check-out were done by machine, the front desk staff were very kind and helpful, which made the process easy. Thank you very much.

I've gotten used to staying at Toyoko Inn hotels when I travel to Japan for business, whether it's Tokyo, Osaka, or Nagoya. However, this time, my stay at the Sanwa Anjo Toyoko Inn left me extremely disappointed! I was quite tired on the day of check-in, so after checking in, I went straight to sleep and slept until 9:30 the next morning, skipping breakfast. Around 10:30, I went downstairs to check out, only to be told I had to pay a 1000 yen late check-out fee, realizing then that check-out was mandatory by 10:00. What I couldn't understand was why the front desk didn't call to remind me before 10:00. I'm a long-time Toyoko Inn member, and in Tokyo before, when I overslept, the front desk always called my room 15 minutes in advance to remind me. This time at the Sanwa Anjo Toyoko Inn, there was no reminder at all. I asked a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk why they hadn't called to remind me to check out, but they were evasive and didn't give me a clear answer. Because I was in a hurry, I paid the 1000 yen late check-out fee and left the hotel. However, looking back, I feel the hotel front desk service was inadequate. The lack of a check-out reminder meant I was charged a full day's room rate if I slept until the afternoon. I'm genuinely annoyed. 1000 yen isn't a lot, but for a chain hotel like Toyoko Inn, this kind of service and practice feels like robbery. It will likely have a negative impact on a large chain like Toyoko Inn. I hope the relevant departments at Ctrip will provide me with an explanation!
