Club Med Joyview Anji

Upon entering the hotel, we were warmly greeted by Eric, who upgraded us to a suite. The room was clean and spacious, and being nestled against the mountain, the air carried a refreshing, grassy scent. The resort offers activities like archery, basketball, cycling, and kayaking. Our 12-year-old son thoroughly enjoyed them and said he'd love to come back again.

Our stay at Club Med Anji was a fantastic experience! A big thank you to GO Asher, who provided attentive and efficient service throughout. He was incredibly warm and helpful, almost like Doraemon, going above and beyond to fulfill all our requests. This made traveling with kids so much easier and stress-free!

GRO Eric provided professional service. Our room was upgraded, and we received welcome fruits and milk for the kids at night 🥛. The room was clean and comfortable, and the resort facilities were excellent. The scenery around the resort was beautiful. It was a very pleasant experience.

I had high expectations, but my experience was very mediocre. I really don't understand how this place got such high ratings! First, since the hotel heavily promotes 'GO Play' activities, I assumed they were included in the room rate. However, upon checking in at the front desk, I was informed that adults would be charged an additional 700 and children an additional 580! I felt completely ripped off. Then I took a closer look at the 'play' activities, and they were seriously underwhelming! They had volleyball and soccer, but who would play in such scorching heat? There's rock climbing, plum blossom piles, and basketball, all crammed into one inflatable castle. The overall environment was very basic! There was also archery, which, aside from the somewhat poor service from the staff, was arguably the most 'advanced' activity available there. There was also kayaking, but it was on a very small lake, and children who couldn't swim weren't allowed to participate, which basically meant it was non-existent for us. Oh, and the free indoor swimming pool was also tiny, located in the basement with poor air circulation. Overall, the facilities were very disappointing! As for the food, it was even more mediocre. In the morning, there were only 3-4 fresh vegetable options, and half the trays were empty and not refilled promptly! The variety of ingredients was very limited, and the fruits weren't sweet. I also checked out the dinner buffet – it was mostly fried foods, and the advertised seafood was scarce and looked unappetizing. However, there were some positives. The service was definitely good. The butler proactively upgraded us to a deluxe twin room and gave us two complimentary activity vouchers for the park! These were for archery and rock climbing! (Honestly, these were the only two playable activities, and each lasted only about 10 minutes. I had hoped to play until noon, but by 10 AM, we were so bored that we checked out early). Also, the evening performance that was mentioned didn't happen; it was just some very childish games for the kids. In conclusion, I absolutely do not recommend this hotel for family travel. There are far more enjoyable hotels in Anji than this one! This hotel is suitable for retirees, definitely not for families with children. The activities are few and low-quality, yet the hotel seems to be deluding itself into thinking it's a high-end experience!

The Club Med Joyview Anji Resort offers a serene environment with healing views of mountains and tea plantations. The rooms are well-equipped, and the buffet selection is extensive. Vivi from the front desk provided attentive and timely service. The resort also boasts a wide range of family-friendly activities, making for a comfortable and pleasant holiday experience.

I saw so many 'avoid at all costs' reviews, but I actually had a great experience when I arrived! Thanks to Molly for upgrading our room. There are also tons of activities for kids, and all the staff are super warm and friendly, which is why we decided to stay an extra night. For families, I'd definitely recommend Club Med over Indigo.

Club Med Anji, nestled within its own tea plantation, is a fantastic destination for a family trip during the summer. Molly was incredibly friendly and proactive, adding me on WeChat beforehand to share helpful tips and even assisting with our rafting reservation. She upgraded our room when we checked in and even gave the kids gifts when we checked out – so thoughtful!

The room environment was really good. We had booked parent-child hotels for our next two stops in Hangzhou, and the contrast was quite noticeable. When we went, it wasn't too crowded, and the evening entertainment was quite well-arranged. We were out all day, so we didn't have much time to properly explore the hotel.

Extremely satisfied with our Club Med Anji trip! Our GRO, Lilian, was incredibly nice and ensured our family had a wonderful stay. It was our child's birthday, and after communicating in advance, she even led the GO team in singing Happy Birthday to them. Our room was upgraded, and the Mini Club activities were plentiful and fun. Both adults and kids had a great time. Very happy!
