Anji Ancient Road Yuan Hot Spring Homestay

First of all‼️ I highly recommend trying their chicken hot pot (clear broth) and boat-head fish – they're absolutely delicious! The chicken soup is so flavorful! The chicken is so tender! The fish is incredibly fragrant! We finished every last drop! 🥳 (Their cooking is truly exceptional; even the random bamboo shoot, pickled mustard greens, and shredded pork noodles for breakfast are delicious.) The rooms are fantastic! The mountain view rooms offer almost a 360-degree panoramic view, and the windows can be opened. There's a stream right outside, so you can play by the stream and sleep to the sound of flowing water. You can also hike on the nearby boardwalk. Oh, and if the weather is nice, be sure to check out the starry sky at night! It's truly beautiful. The owner is incredibly kind; when our car battery died, she even called some villagers for help. The local people are friendly and welcoming – a treasure trove of a guesthouse worth visiting again! Life here feels so relaxed and peaceful.

The room was huge, the color scheme was perfect, the cleanliness was excellent, and the service was superb.

The hostess was very helpful. She even told me to use AutoNavi while we were still on the road. The last section of the road to the hotel was indeed difficult to navigate. I took a wrong turn and arrived after dark, making it difficult for large SUVs. The last section was transported up by a small flatbed truck. The driver said they couldn't get it and asked me to bring it. The road was pitch black, and the children were quite nervous. The B&B felt like a hermitage, surrounded by dense forests and streams. The air was refreshing. My first stop was Qiandao Lake, and my second was in Anji, where I rested for a day before driving back. The B&B has a somewhat old-fashioned feel. There was a large moth in the room that was killed the next day, and the floorboards squeaked with pigeons, which my wife found difficult to accept. We had to eat at the Mingsu Inn for dinner, which was okay. The breakfast porridge and side dishes were very good and satisfying. Facing the lush forest was a relaxing oxygen bar. Our puppy was also very happy to be out for the first time, constantly greeting the other dogs. It was quiet at home, and it felt like he was seeing the world. The hostess even gave us a gift of Anji's famous bamboo shoots when we left. I was very happy.

Facilities: The house is a wooden structure, with a retro feel and a lot of character. Cleanliness: Very good. Acceptable. Environment: The environment is extremely beautiful, with flowers and plants everywhere. Only someone who truly loves life could build such a beautiful courtyard. Under the sunlight, everything is full of life. The owner also has two small dogs and a cat. They are very friendly and have good temperaments. You can gently pet them. They will sit quietly next to you, keeping you company. Service: We arrived around 9 PM, and the owner waited for us the whole time. When we reached the parking lot at the foot of the mountain, the owner had a man come down to meet us. Our luggage was transported up using a conveyor belt. We still had to walk a little further up. We also ordered stir-fried dishes at the guesthouse, which the owner cooked fresh. The pickled bamboo shoots were very appetizing and had a wonderful wok hei (wok aroma). The next morning, our room only included two breakfasts. Since there were three adults and one child, the owner was very kind and gave us an extra one. The road uphill is a one-way street and extremely steep; if you're not used to driving that way, I suggest arriving at the guesthouse early. Also, because we mentioned to the owner that we were afraid to drive uphill, she offered to drive us downhill. Although we ultimately decided to drive ourselves, the owner thoughtfully had a staff member follow behind our car, escorting us all the way down. The service was excellent, and the environment was beautiful. Living in such a place was truly relaxing.

The room had many thoughtful details, such as a dehumidifier in the bathroom and soundproofing material on the doors and windows. The food at the owner's restaurant was delicious, and dining there felt like a seamless integration with the natural environment. The path to the hotel was a bit rugged, but manageable; it was part of the hiking experience. Stream tracing was conveniently located right outside the hotel.

The cabin in the mountains was a fantastic experience! The air was fresh, the surroundings were quiet, and the rooms were clean and tidy. You could go hiking or play in the stream. The guesthouse also had friendly dogs and cats, which the children loved. The food was also delicious. The hydrangeas were in full bloom in June, and the environment was elegant.

If you're tired of the staged photos of trendy guesthouses, the natural, rustic charm here made me fall in love with life all over again! ✨ Most guesthouses in Zhejiang have modern decor with floor-to-ceiling windows, which gets a bit tiresome after a while. Here, you can immerse yourself in 24-hour natural white noise all day long! The babbling of mountain springs, the rustling of bamboo, and the fluttering of birds create a surround sound experience that's incredibly soothing! 💯 It even rained at night, and listening to the rain pattering on the banana leaves was so delightful. Because there are quite a few steps leading up the mountain, the guesthouse even provides a small luggage cart – so thoughtful! ❗The auntie's cooking is exceptionally delicious, and the pickled mustard greens, shredded pork, and bamboo shoot noodles for breakfast were also fantastic!
