Econo Lodge Ankeny - des Moines

We stayed over for one night here. The room was clean. The hotel is clearly older and could be updated but I can’t complain for the cheap price I paid. It was a good place to stay overnight. Breakfast wasn’t that great but again it was worth what we paid.

The heating unit in the room was very loud.... Like a truck was running in the room kind of loud. It was windy outside and the wind was blowing through the window seal like it would in a 100 year old house. Very disappoining!

Super friendly greeting at the front desk even though we didn't arrive until 1AM due to inclement weather! What a relief to have a room that was clean and comfortable!

The pool was not available because of heater not working. I think that I got sick from the breakfast eggs that i had the next morning.

I feel like I'm in a Marriott or something. Very clean. Smells good. Cheerful person at the front desk.

Room was satisfactorily, the service was excellent. Breakfast quantities was small.

The room was much nicer than I was expecting, and the breakfast was above and beyond expectations Very under rated hotel option

Don't plan on eating continental breakfast. Spent rhree nights and by 7am hot foods were empty. What was left not appealing. Rooms needed updating and marginally clean. Would not recommend unless on a budget. .

It took her like three times to check me in she kept messing it up and then put me in a cheaper room than i paid for and had to be moved again once I was done with the front desk staff the stay was nice, a bit musty and feels like an older hotel
