The hostel is located at the base of Semnoz hill. About a 10min walk from the city centre of Annecy. The staff are friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is excellent. The hostel is definitely showing some wear and tear. There are lots of school groups who stay there. If visiting Anncry and dont mind a walk definitely stay here. The breakfast is really good.

The staff were friendly, quite good breakfast with a view. Room is quite small for 4 ppl, only has 2 sockets, the shower cubicle is inside the room and it only has a button to press for the water. But I had great roommates which made the experience positive.

Overall, it's pretty good. It has all the expected services, and the breakfast selection is quite good with many choices. However, the location is a bit out of the way, so you might want to reconsider.

The rooms are more like barracks; the beds have only a pillow, pillowcase, and a sheet. There are no outlets or lamps near the bed. The breakfast is satisfactory.

Good first experience. Disappointed by the rooms; it was difficult to sleep due to people coming and going at different times, waking up and returning at different times in the evening, which can disrupt sleep. There were few electrical outlets in a room with four beds. Breakfast was adequate. The view was excellent.

It's so far from the station! There's a steep hill right before you get off, which is tough 😭 Buses only come about every 40 minutes. No air conditioning. Wi-Fi is only available in the shared spaces. There's a kitchen, so it looks like you can easily cook a quick meal. There's even a microwave ⭕️ Other than the distance, it was pretty good.
