Because they use the Chinese name for the hotel (格拉斯酒店(安庆人民路步行街店), instead of the Manofee Hotel, it took me an additional 30 minutes to find the hotel and the parking area in the back despite being in the immediate area. Because I was on my motorcycle in the middle of February, I was freezing my butt off looking for it. I called the hotel's phone number, but the front staff couldn't speak English, so I couldn't communicate to her my predicament. Fortunately, she (I don't remember her name) had the wherewithal to add me on WeChat, and I was able to find the hotel. I recommend English-speaking customers to look for the hotel exterior front which matches the one in the photo. The parking lot is in the back of the hotel, not visible from the front. It will be entered through an entrance to the right of the hotel (if you are facing the hotel).
I wish I knew her name, but that one lady who helped me to get to the hotel answered all my questions on WeChat about some of the tourist spots nearby and information about the facilities. Even though she couldn't write in English, I was able to use the translator function to translate her messages into English and vice versa.
The location itself is relatively close to the Yangtze river, especially as seen on the map, but in reality, it's like a ten minute walk at least to the famous temple nearby with the tall pagoda. You do have to take the Didi to get to the Anqing museum and my motorcycle ride took me 2 hours to get to Tianzushan mountain (probably an hour by car). So, if you want to be mainly near the riverfront area and sort of around it, this is a good location for that.
They do not have a restaurant nor is breakfast served. When I went to use their washing machine, there was only one, and it was being used, probably by the staff. So, if you don't expect much in terms of facilities, then for the price point, I think the place is decent.
My one real gripe was that my motorcycle was moved from its original parking location from where I parked it. I don't know if this was one of the other customers or the hotel staff or the parking staff. But this is something that is a very rude and unacceptable thing to do. Motorcycles are not electric scooters or bicycles. They are expensive machines that need to take up physical space and should not be touched or moved by other people who are not its owner.
