Hotel Lunay

First of all, I want to request a refund from TRIP regarding the misleading information that is on your website please... Here is the review - BEWARE!- HOTEL LUNAY..... HOTEL NO-WAY October 2025 First of all a MASSIVE THANKS to the amazing staff at TREND PARK, you saved our holiday and probably our marriage!! Right, first off, we booked a week at 'THE LUNAY' Hotel as I was having my final dental treatment and on the website it looked quite nice to be fair..... how WRONG was I?... When we got to The Lunay hotel it was 1am and we just wanted to get some sleep, as soon as we got into our room we could have cried!! Disgusting, dirty, moldy shower, dangerous electrics 1 lightbulb in the whole room, In the morning we went down to 'breakfast'... WOW... Chips, dodgy looking scrambled egg, a dry looking melon and salad, no toaster or bread!! The second night was even worse, the bed was like a slab of concrete with 1 of the thinnest pillows we've ever seen! My wife was awake all night scratching saying that it felt like things were crawling on her! In the morning we were both fuming and arguing with each other even though it was not either of ours fault... So we went straight to the sea front and went to The TREND PARK hotel as we had had coffee and cake there on a previous trip.. With fingers crossed we asked the lovely receptionist if she had any rooms and she replied 'Yes of course' with a lovely smile! ... We returned to THE LUNAY and have never packed our cases so fast, got a taxi and within half an hour, we were walking into a fantastic, clean,spacious room with a balcony too!! ... We again could of cried, but with happiness as the weight on our shoulders just dissapeared and our holiday had finally started!! All the staff, especially the lovely cleaning lady were AMAZING!! In the morning we went down for breakfast and it was FAB!! Massive choice, all not only looking fresh but really fresh and delicious! Everything in the hotel was spotlessly clean, modern, lots of comfy seating inside and outside... AND.. even though we lost our money at THE LUNAY.... We were expecting to pay a lot more but the difference in price per night was only £10 each extra at TREND PARK.... Yet the difference between the hotels was immesurable!! .... As I said at the start of this review, TREND PARK definately saved our holiday and no joking when I say probably our marriage.. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!! This property was in a popular location and had loads of local amenities i.e. masjid, shopping, dining and beaches are in a walking distance. The property was good however it can be a lot better. There is lack of maintenance. I want to give it 5 star... there is no lift available and the most frustrating was no wifi in our rooms. The good bits are swimming pool, freshly made breakfast. My shower wasn’t working because it was fully clogged. The room service is available but she doesn't do proper cleaning. When we had issues , nobody was available at the reception. Its a beautiful location. Room was big and we had balcony as well. It can do so much better if these points are sorted. I would love to come back and so recommend it still!

The pillows were the softest I’ve ever tried. However, there was some construction going on in a nearby building — possibly a new one — which caused some noise in the morning. This might be an issue for guests looking for a peaceful stay. In our room, the air conditioning wasn’t working properly, which made things a bit uncomfortable. That said, the receptionist, Savaş (if I got the name right), was very kind and helpful, which made a positive difference. One of the best things about this hotel is that it’s just a bit over a 5-minute walk to the beach

There is no elevator and the third floor room is so uncomfortable the water of the bathroom very poor the place far from the beach

Both staff and owners provided us with top class service and very helpful and courteous. Catering for all ages and families. Well maintained pool open from 9am till 10pm, drinks and snacks at the pool bar competively priced.

No thrills , does the job. Staff were very friendly despite our delays, pool is small but enough for all, location is good enough that it isnt loud but isnt too far from the beach or the theme park either, the manager went out of his way to provide for us and , after reading the bad reviews, we don't understand the experiences of others, We'd happily return.

I am not a usual review writer, but this is exceptional. So I want to help others: 1. Location and area - located in a underdeveloped part, lots of building works in the surrounding plots. Very noisy. Located next to an open sewer. Beware mosquitos! Its 20 minutes walk to the beech. Its a windy path, not safe. 2. Unsafe and dangerous - the area is a bit sketch. Unsafe at night. Avoid if u want to stumble back in the dark. 3. Breakfast - if u like stale meat and mouldy bread. Milk gone off. Which other hotel says dont bring drinks from outside or we will charge u! Madness. 4. Staff - not welcoming, dont speak english. Rude and scary to approach. 5 cleanliness - toilet smells of drainage, shower gets blocked and sheets are changed or cleaned. You dont get a duvet. U get a towel.
