Valiha Hotel Antananarivo

The room was nice and the location was convenient for going to the open-air market. The girl at the front desk was very nice and patiently answered all kinds of questions. Although the public security in Malaysia is not very good, it is okay as long as you don't wander around after dark.

The bed was large, the shower had good water pressure, and there was a small supermarket near a gas station not far from the hotel, where you could buy daily necessities, food, and drinking water at low prices. The small market next to it was very lively.

The property is located near the city center, but unfortunately, it's very basic and unpleasant (the reception is on the first floor of an unattractive building). Staff are almost nonexistent and not particularly helpful. The room is mediocre and very cold, with no hot water and an internal view of a dilapidated building. Breakfast, which was included, wasn't served because we only wanted drinks, and we were informed that this wasn't possible (only with the full package). The dinner was decent. Wi-Fi in the room and common areas. Credit cards don't work, so cash only.
