It was a great location. We used the property as a base for our travels around Madagascar - staying there 3 times in 3 weeks. Staff were accommodating and flexible. Hotel is comfortable and nicely outfitted.
I wish they would have options to purchase refreshments (water, soft drinks, etc). We were unable to find a shop nearby to purchase these things.

Charming
The hotel served as our base for travels across Madagascar - we stayed there three times in three weeks. The location is great, the staff is accommodating and flexible. The hotel is nicely outfitted.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really liked my room. Tall ceilings and spacious. It had a separate sun room for morning coffee. The entire property has great character.
The only negatives, which were far surpassed by the positives were that the fridge in my room did not work and during the night the power went out a few times. It didn’t really matter since it was at night, but odd.

Beautifully renovated villa transformed into a lovely hotel. The rooms are large with updated bathrooms. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast room is gorgeous, with a wide variety of offerings for everyone one: I had one of the most delicious pineapple jams ever! The hotel will make reservations for you at nearby restaurants and send someone to accompany you to and from the place for your own security. Wonderful place!

Beautiful property, but series of minor mishaps reflecting management which could be better. A delayed arrival around 22:00 rather than 21:00, which I had informed our travel agents about, meant no food available when we arrived - they did find a few bananas and oranges, and did offer to send night watchman to get something. Not in the sort of area where you can just pop out at night. Went up to room in gorgeous colonial building, turned on lamp and electricity in building fused. Had to go down by iPhone lamps, but the receptionist who had met us in her pyjamas had gone back to bed, so at first difficult to find anyone to help. But night watchman on street found someone and fuses were sorted. Toilet in our room didn’t fill, so had to use kettle to fill manually ( Rm 7) and shower totally cold in room next door (8?). Multiple powercuts for 10-30 secs in morning, but that may have been whole area. But location good, staff friendly, bed great and so was breakfast.

Superbe hôtel de charme où on se sent à la maison, même pendant un voyage d'affaire, Très jolie décoration, Ça sent bon le parquet, propreté impeccable. Je recommande si vous voyagez comme moi pour le travail et être fatigué des chaînes d'hôtels sans saveur.

L'accueil, le personnel très à l'écoute, la qualité des prestations dans une établissement de toute beauté que je recommande à tous. Une literie idéale, des chambres propres, un petit déjeuner plus que correct. J'y retournerai sans hésiter.
