Jilin Province Changbai Mountain Atour Project

Looking for an immersive cultural experience and a deep dive into Changbai Mountain? After comparing several hotels in the same category, I chose the Atour Hotel in Erdaobaihe, located at the northern slope's distribution center. Its convenient location truly lets you soak in the town's charm. Think of its location as the Tiananmen Square of Beijing – right next to the North Slope distribution center, making mountain access a breeze. It's also very close to the Enduli Manchu Cultural Street. Upon checking in, I was pleasantly surprised with welcome gifts, including Luckin Coffee, paired with fresh local fruits – a delightful taste of the region. The hotel itself is incredibly photogenic. A short walk takes you to the Scaly-sided Merganser Park, and the Edelweiss photo spot isn't far either. The town itself is teeming with opportunities to experience Changbai Mountain's culture, boasting numerous restaurants and creative cultural shops. The hotel's pickup service was excellent, and the staff were well-versed in local culture, sharing fascinating stories about the town. Definitely my top choice for an in-depth exploration!

For my Changbaishan trip, I spent a long time deliberating over accommodation. After comparing several hotels of similar caliber, I settled on the Atour Hotel in Erdaobaihe, and my stay was absolutely perfect! The location is incredible, like being right in the heart of Beijing's Tiananmen Square. It's right next to the North Slope distribution center, making it incredibly convenient to get to the Changbaishan North Slope scenic area without having to wake up early for a long drive. Upon check-in, the hotel had prepared a thoughtful welcome gift, including Ruixing coffee and fresh local fruit. From the moment I arrived in the town, I felt a warm welcome. The hotel lobby, hallways, and rooms are all very photogenic, with beautiful compositions that make any snap look like a professional shot. Just a short walk from the hotel is Qiusha Duck Park, and the Enduli Food Street and Edelweiss photo spot are all nearby, offering a rich variety of shopping and dining options. The hotel also provides a station pickup service. The staff were enthusiastic and polite, providing attentive and thoughtful service. After hiking Tianchi, returning to the hotel to rest was a fantastic experience. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting the North Slope.

The room facilities are good, the location is convenient, and the breakfast is quite rich. The staff are enthusiastic. It's a great choice for a trip to Changbai Mountain. Although we couldn't go up to Tianchi Lake today, the scenery along the way was beautiful.

This summer, I stayed at an Atour hotel in Shanghai, and when I came to Changbai Mountain, I chose to stay at their largest Atour property here. I'm increasingly appreciating what Atour has to offer: They have a 24-hour self-service laundry room, breakfast that runs until 10:30 AM, and an incredibly high-ceilinged public space that's not only beautiful but also filled with great books. Plus, the staff (front desk, restaurant, housekeeping) are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We even received a welcome gift bag upon check-in. The location is also convenient. In the evening, we walked around Endu, and taking a taxi there was only about 1-2 kilometers.

I often marvel at how incredible it is that a hotel like Atour, which is so incredibly friendly to the middle class, could emerge in China. At the very least, Atour's founder is a leader with great vision. But I digress. Speaking of the Atour I stayed at in Changbai Mountain, it was truly excellent. The staff had a great service mindset, and the overall hotel environment was quite superior. The location was prime, very close to all the popular spots in Erdaobaihe, especially Cloud Top Market, which was just a seven or eight-minute walk away. There's also the Alkali River Wetland and the Edelweiss Reindeer Park nearby, which was fantastic. It's a hotel with no flaws, one of the more outstanding Atour hotels.

The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were very warm and friendly. It was my first time in Changbaishan, and I wasn't sure about the routes, but they explained everything very clearly. It was a great experience.

The hotel service was very thoughtful; they even gave us a small gift. The internet speed was fast, the environment was clean, and the amenities were complete. The TV could swivel, and the common area had self-service coffee and juice. Overall, it was pretty good. It's right next to Genting Market, which is convenient for shopping and within walking distance. However, it's a bit far from the Changbai Mountain scenic area; a taxi ride costs about 80 yuan one way. The only thing that bothered me was that the hotel driver promised to give me a pinecone the day before but never did, and I couldn't reach him on the last day. The shuttle service within the town was 10 yuan per trip, supposedly only for guests. I used him many times. A trip to Changbai Mountain was 100 yuan, and I booked both ways with him. I even booked the hot springs at Changbai Mountain through him…

Came to Changbai Mountain with my family and had a great two-night stay at the Atour Hotel! The location is very convenient with the Cloud Peak Market nearby, and Wetland Park and Autumn Sand Duck Park are just across the street. The room was also very good and the service was excellent!

I was extremely satisfied! The hotel's location is unbeatable, very close to the Changbai Mountain pool entrance distribution center, just a two-minute drive away, which is incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. What's truly remarkable is how Atour genuinely goes above and beyond with their service. The breakfast is abundant, and the toiletries and bedding are excellent. They even provide a Dyson hairdryer! Additionally, the hotel generously offers free iced drinks, coffee, and bottled water, which is a very thoughtful touch. The towels and bath towels were sealed, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene – fantastic. Due to a change in my personal schedule, I requested a late checkout until 2 PM, and the front desk staff readily agreed, which I greatly appreciate.
