Right at check-in, we were given two warm bottles of Changbai Mountain mineral water. The room was standard, and the heating was very strong – we had to sleep with the window open. The hot springs, however, are in a separate building, and you have to walk through the lobby on the ground floor to get to them. The lobby and the breakfast area on the second floor weren't warm enough, making it easy to catch a cold after coming back from the hot springs. The hot springs themselves are communal and only have a few small pools; it's not really worth going unless you just want a quick taste of Changbai Mountain's hot springs.

The hotel service was absolutely wonderful! When we checked in, the front desk saw we were cold and immediately offered us warm bottled water. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. When we went to the hot springs, the staff member managing the area was so enthusiastic. She constantly reminded us to be safe and even specially guided us to try the outdoor hot springs, which was a 100% amazing experience. Despite the cold weather, we truly felt the warmth and hospitality from the hot springs staff. She even helped us take a group photo – fantastic! 👍 Breakfast was also excellent, with delicious food and even frozen sliced pears. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.

I love their washroom! The toilet is fantastic, alway warm! Very helping especially weather below -20! The manger is very helpful to get taxi for us to go train station! This hotel is very noisy, it seems to cater to tour groups. It gets incredibly loud starting at 6 AM every day, and the soundproofing is terrible. The front desk staff's attitude was just okay, but the concierge was good. The shower head in the bathroom was broken, and the lighting was very dim. Overall, it was a very poor experience. I heard tour groups get it for only 200 a night, so I feel it was really not worth the price.
