Room Facilities: There was no prior notice of a water outage. The shower leaked severely. The living room window could not be fully closed, making it impossible to sleep at night due to the loud shouting of drunks on the street. On windy days, the window was blown open, letting cold air directly into the room. Cleanliness: After cleaning the room, one bath towel was missing, and tea bags and tissues were not refilled. Service: After reporting the above issues to the hotel manager, there was no apology. We contacted Ctrip, who then contacted the hotel. The hotel manager said they would communicate with us at check-out and see if they could provide some form of compensation, such as a complimentary item. However, neither the front desk staff nor the manager mentioned these issues at check-out. The hotel is positioned as a historic boutique hotel and is now part of the Marriott Group, but its facilities and service do not meet even the most basic standards, which is seriously inconsistent with its positioning and pricing.
