The view from the balcony is amazing...being right on the beach is such a convenience, especially with small children. There are quite a few steps to go down (good workout!) and there's a nice bar with food & drinks halfway down. Unfortunately we didn't use the pool because you have to pay extra (8 euros a day) but that's ok because the sea is crystal clear and clean...really great! We brought our own umbrella and didn't use the beach loungers available (weren't sure if you could just take them or not). But beach is small and not too overcrowded. Nice swimming, good walk to other beaches with beach bars. The room is small and simple and the main building is a very outdated but for the price/location it's a great deal! It takes 5 minutes by car to arrive at the center of Anzio...full of restaurants and a cute piazza with lots of people. The staff was friendly and helpful. Free parking right across the street. Plus if you need the parking along the beach is free too. We will be back!

We stayed at this lovely little hotel for 10 nights. We chose Serpa because it gives excellent access to Rome, only an hour away by train from the nearby station Marechiaro. British visitors will be astonished at the low fares and efficient service that Trenitalia offers. We recommend using Trainline to book tickets. Travel into Anzio town and nearby Nettuno is also easy on the local buses, and there’s plenty to see and do. We thoroughly recommend the two beachhead museums and the Anglo-US cemeteries are well worth a visit. It pays to download the free Cotral app to get real-time bus schedules. Practicalities aside, we were very pleased with the service Serpa provides. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the sea view from the balcony rooms is commanding. The aircon is free and very efficient; there are abundant charging points; the shower is excellent; plenty of storage space, and the bed was comfortable with linen changed every day. Our only criticism is that the Wi-Fi signal is patchy and sometimes erratic, especially if you are outside. Breakfast is served in a dedicated area, and though not sumptuous, the fare on offer is varied and tasty with excellent fresh coffee on request. The reception staff are also extremely helpful (our thanks to Carlotta, Ryan, Paul and Bernadette for their superb service.) Serpa does not have a pool or a bar, although you can order drinks at Reception and add the bill to your room tab. There’s a small supermarket up the hill about 10 minutes away, and a variety of eateries within easy walking distance. So if you are planning to lap up the delights of Rome, or maybe explore the history of the 1944 Anzio landings, Serpa Hotel will not disappoint.

Residence in posizione strategica tra Pomezia e il litorale, molto accogliente: camera ampia con cucina attrezzata, molto pulita, silenziosa e tranquilla. Letto comodo, bagno con diversi prodotti per toilette (shampoo, doccia schiuma e saponette) e biancheria pulitissima. La reception chiude alle 21, ma viene fornito il telecomando per accesso al parcheggio privato. Disponibile distributore di bevande calde e fredde nella hall. Ci siamo trovati molto bene

My family and I stayed here for only one night as we had to stop overnight to Sorrento - wish we would have stayed longer! Nice apartment, clean, had all amenities we needed including a washing machine. Excellent customer service by front desk especially Alessio. torniamo qui per la seconda volta, nel w.e. 26-28 agosto. rispetto allo scorso anno, dove soggiornammo per una settimana, posso dire che stavolta, con rammarico, si notano diverse differenze peggiorative che fanno scendere la valutazione, a cominciare dall'arrivo alle ore 10:45 circa, la camera ci dicono, e come già sapevo, sarebbe stata pronta per le 14, l'idea era quella di aspettare la consegna in piscina, che con il gran caldo sarebbe stato piacevole, chiedo e mi dicono che c'è da pagare 10 euro a persona per l'ingresso, ma io sono ospite ufficiale tra 3 ore! vabbé se devo pago. entriamo in piscina ed alle 12 ci comunicano che la camera è pronta, quindi 1 ora e 15 di piscina 10 euro.. proporzionate al costo di una giornata al mare avrei risparmiato.. vado a ritirare la chiave della camera e mi chiedono il saldo anticipato, quindi tutti gli altri servizi a pagamento di cui potrei usufruire ( pranzo o cena al ristorante, servizi di piscina, aperitivi o extra di qualsiasi genere li devo pagare sempre all'istante? vabbé, forse qualcuno è scappato in piena notte senza pagare.. la camera arredata in maniera discreta, letto matrimoniale fatto di due reti singole accoppiate che cigolano allegramente ad ogni girata nel letto, pareti segnate da zanzare spiaccicate, qualche ragnatela in giro con annesso fabbricatore di tele, copriletto bucato da qualcuno che ha fumato di straforo in camera, e soprattutto, briciole varie in giro per la stanza, che voglio dire, 10 mq di camera, con una scopa in 5 minuti togli tutto! condizionatore che funziona al minimo nonostante fosse stato da me regolato al massimo di ventilazione ed a 21° gradi di temperatura interna, temperatura mai scesa sotto i 26,8 gradi.. colazione standard con limitate scelte di dolce e salato, rispetto allo scorso anno è sparito il buonissimo yogurt artigianale fatto da loro sostituito da vasetti di activia. ma la ciliegina sulla torta è stata la festa del 18mo compleanno di una ragazza nell'area esterna antistante gli ingressi di tutte le ali delle camere.. ma io dico, ma come si fa a pensare di rompere i cogli0ni ad una 30ina di persone che soggiornano pagando e quindi in diritto di and****ne a dormire alle 10 di sera, fino all'una di notte?? con musica, fuochi d'artificio e ragazzetti che sbraitano allegri fregandosene del fatto che sono in un albergo? decisamente fuori luogo!! prossima estate verso altri lidi.
