Dormy Inn Aomori Natural Hot Spring Reviews

This hotel is expensive during Sleep Festival. But the hot spring and buffet breakfast is good

Overall, my stay was excellent. For a 14-square-meter room, Dormy Inn's design is superior. The power outlets are well-placed, and the bed isn't cluttered with unnecessary throw pillows. The duvet isn't tucked in so tightly that it's hard to pull out, and the open wardrobe area is great for hanging clothes. There's plenty of space for a 20-inch suitcase, and you can even open a 26-inch one. My only minor gripe is the motion-sensor light in the hallway; I wish there was a manual switch. The room has a shower instead of a bathtub, but you can use the large public bath. The public bath facilities are fantastic, with shower caps and hair ties provided in the women's section. Laundry is free, and there's a dryer available for 100 yen for 20 minutes, which is perfect for doing laundry during a longer trip. The 13th-floor bath and lounge offer great views. The hairdryer is also very powerful. It was a slight shame that the public bath only offered free popsicles in the afternoon and no Yakult.

I always love staying at Dormy Inn. They have a great public bath, complimentary cold drinks and ramen, and this particular location even offered free Aomori apple juice. I also got to enjoy a fireworks display right from the hotel!

Consistent with the Dormy Inn brand, the room is well-equipped, and the bedding is comfortable. The front desk is on the fourth floor. Both the indoor and outdoor hot springs are spacious, clean, and tidy, with added Aomori Nebuta Festival touches.

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Aomori Station. The room, although not large, makes very efficient use of space with a separate wet and dry area. The hot spring is excellent. The breakfast buffet is about 105 RMB per person and includes scallop sashimi, tuna in soy sauce, and delicious burdock rice. The apple juice is tasty, and they also have specialty chicken meatballs and fried scallops, which were all very good.

Excellent amenities. Free coffee, apple juice, ramen and also ice cream. Can't ask for more. Recommend to stay here. 10 min walk to Aomori station.

First try dormy Inn and we are already fall in love with dormy inn. Good Onsen, excellent hospitality and nice ramen as supper. Definitely will come again.

This hotel is fantastic! It's spotlessly clean, and I mean every corner. The hot springs bath is wonderful too. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around. Plus, they even offer complimentary soba noodles in the evening. I had a very comfortable stay and highly recommend it!

Dormy Inn is the best hotel for delicious food and great hot springs. They offer Aomori's signature apple juice, and for breakfast, you can enjoy scallop sashimi. Plus, there's complimentary late-night ramen, ice cream bars at the hot spring, and morning Yakult – all fantastic perks! My only minor complaint is that it's a bit far from Aomori Station, but it's very close to Hirota Shrine.

Location: About a 10-minute walk from Aomori Station, right on the main street, so it's very easy to find. The decor isn't brand new, but it's very well-maintained. Service: The front desk and restaurant staff were all very warm and friendly. My experience from check-in to check-out was quite good. This hotel brand offers complimentary late-night ramen, popsicles after a hot spring bath, and Yakult in the morning. This Aomori branch also had self-serve apple juice and coffee next to the front desk, which was a nice touch. Facilities: My room was windowless, which felt a bit overpriced for the off-peak season. However, their rooftop onsen (hot spring) is excellent. The onsen floor has Nebuta festival decorations, and the indoor and outdoor areas combined are quite spacious. There's also a sauna.

Traveling from Sendai to Morioka, then Hirosaki, and finally Aomori, I was already a bit 'over' cherry blossoms and wasn't really interested in Yoshitomo Nara's works. So, Aomori itself felt a bit underwhelming for me. The hotel, however, met my expectations. I didn't have breakfast, but I did visit the public bath and enjoyed the ice cream there. The hotel itself is good – clean, well-equipped, and with good service. My only minor complaint is that it's a bit far from the JR station. Also, a 10 AM checkout feels a bit early for the Tohoku region.

The hotel has a nice view and the breakfast was delicious. There were free ramen at night and free apple juice at the drink bar. The hot spring was nice too, we had a great stay!

Had a wonderful stay for five nights at the Aomori Dormy Inn. Loved the onsen, the free nightly ramen, and the small post onsen snacks. The breakfast is a very full spread. Very convenient location. The elevators can be slow.
