Berjaya Hakkoda Ski Resort

Great value for money, and the location is fantastic! It's only a 3-minute walk to the Hakkoda Ropeway Station. We visited in late October and experienced heavy snow, so it would be the perfect place to stay for skiing in winter. It's also very convenient to drive from here to Jōgakura Bridge and Sukayu Onsen.

This hotel offers great value for money, though it's a bit of a walk from the bus stop. I'd advise against bringing bulky luggage, especially with the snow, as it can be quite inconvenient. The snow at the ski resort is wonderfully powdery, perfect for intermediate skiers.

Because my travel companion injured their foot, the staff kindly helped us change our room type and charged us the difference! They even moved our room to the first floor! Thank you!!!

The service was excellent, and the dinner was delicious. The location is great, being close to the cable car. The shampoo and shower gel were a bit difficult to use; I recommend bringing your own. It would be better if the price for a single room was a bit cheaper; I'd like to stay longer.

The hotel is a bit old but clean, with good service. It's very close to the Hakkoda Mt. Ropeway, making it ideal for skiers. However, being located high in the mountains, the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city, so ski gear is necessary as it approaches autumn/winter. Also, due to shorter daylight hours, early check-in is recommended to avoid dark conditions at night.

In autumn, the view of maple leaves outside the window is very pleasant. There's a large, spacious public bath. The only minor drawback is the poor soundproofing; you can hear laughter and chatter from next door. The breakfast, while simple, is delicious; I recommend ordering it separately.
