Great
GGuest UserIt’s a nice hotel but at the price I’m paying (Rp 2.7million per night), it was not good value for money. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel, but rather a modern serviced apartment vibe.
Pros:
- Location, right beside the mall and 8mins walk to the beach
- Modern amenities
- Spacious room, equipped with kitchen utensils, microwave, drinking water dispenser and induction stove
Cons:
- Not the cleanest and tidiest housekeeping
- Very tiny gym with only one treadmill that doesn’t work
- Unguarded pool that will require you to whatsapp and wait for towel
- Toilet door that cannot be locked from inside. The security has to be called in via whatsapp to install manual key and it will be recorded down
- Unfriendly staff, very unlike typical Bali’s service. I had especially bad experience with the receptionist Esty. When I first came to the hotel, she needed to tap me through the door - and when I said I was checking in, instead of ushering me to sit down first, she held me at the door standing questioning if I got the right hotel and what was the reservation name. She also threw the pen to the paper that I needed to sign. In the room, she told me that there are 4 sets of plates in case there is discrepancy when I check out - for a 5 star hotel, I think it’s not professional to insinuate that I may take one or two plates.
It was nice stay but I personally will not be back.

GGuest Usergreat newly built apartment in the middle of seminyak, have parking space for my rented car as well throughout my stay. Seminyak beach is a 15 minutes walk, and the main street of seminyak is 5 minutes walk through the small alley beside the apartment.
Swimming pool at the roof is awesome.

珊珊瑚1110Excellent hotel in walking distance to the beach, food hawkers, restaurants, booze, grocery stores, laundromats and money changers. There are beach bars close by if that is your thing. The staff were friendly and generous. Room was clean and comfortable. It included a kitchenette with a stovetop, microwave and bar fridge in case you want to nuke/crisp/cool some schnitties. Rooftop bar is great for watching sunsets and distant volcanoes whilst local cover bands meet the aesthetic.

AAnonymous UserThe bed is comfortable and large. The aircon is strong. Toilet is clean and water pressure is strong. Water temperature is hot and comfortable. The accommodation is quiet and restful for a good night sleep. There is no lift so those with a lot of bags might wanna just make sure they can carry up the stairs.
DDarina MuradyanGood but a little bit old hotel. Beautiful territory, good service, quite comfortable room, not far from nice beach. The hotel has its own shuttle to the beach every 15 minutes. it’s convenient.

GGuest UserThe cabins were not possible to find unless you already knew where they were. Perhaps we were supposed to get some additional information or a contact number, but we didn't recieve anything from the booking website and expected to be able to navigate to the address. The address wasn't quite where it was pined on google maps, but after circling the area multiple times we just happened to come across the owner's son who escorted us there. It's down a downward dirt path and then you take a right at the fork, go around some parked cars, and then you can see the cabins after you walk behind another building. Some signs along this route would have been helpful. The owners live a 10 minute walk up the hill so I'm not sure how we would have checked in or found them, especially considering the cell signal was very poor. Once we got the wifi and the owner's number from the son, communication was good and any issues were fixed quickly. I think if we had gotten their contact information and clear check-in instructions before setting off to the cabin everything would have been much easier.
The view from the cabin was nice; it looks out over the ocean (not the caldera/lake). It was a very nice expereince to be up so high in the mountains.
The bed was very comfortable. The toilet/shower area is combined as a small wetroom.
Convientiely, theres a small warung on the hill.

I love the design and interior of the villa. Its new and supermodern. You feel calmness as they arw using white color for the interior. Staffs are very friendly. The balcony is massive that you can chillax and enjoy the sunset at.
CONS :
Since the villa area located opposite of construction area, the balcony area become dusty. Hot water in washroom wasnt functioning well. It only last for 5-10mins, called up the staff to fix it, it still the same. The toilet and washroom are using glass doot which another person can see through when u r taking shower. So if you are coming with your friends or family, this gonna be hard. What i did, whenever 1 of us need to take shower or use toilet, another person has to go to the balcony... This villa mainly for couples i guess?
But overall, the villa is really gergous.
GGuest UserPhotos match the reality, and we've got everything we expected: a very large room, a gym (with a working AC!!!), a nice pool, very pretty hotel territory, and good lobby with a coffee shop and plenty spaces to work if necessary. There are two convenience stores within a 3 minute walk, and parking space (there isn't too much of it, but they do have a valet, so this resolved the issue). There are cafes around if you are ready to walk along Bali streets (which is a challenge in itself).
The staff resolved an issue we had with our room promptly and successfully.
Wifi was decent enough for Zoom calls, but some websites took a long time to load.
I woud recommend it to anybody who wants a hotel with spacious room and beautiful territory l, especially if you work remotely (unless you need a super speedy connection).
PPhilipI had a great time at Sunset Mansion, even though it's in Seminyak it's a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, a bit outside of the chaos.
Very happy with the pool access suite, with breakfast, a spacious room with kitchenette, a big bed and big bathroom. The service was top notch. Laras, the receptionist took very good care of me. She is attentive and professional. All the other staff were very helpful too and always positive with a smile. I will come back, next time!

GGuest UserWe are very pleased to be in this place. very cozy small courtyard with a swimming pool, lots of plants. the staff was super friendly and helped in any questions. We had a deluxe room - a kitchen-living room and a separate closed bedroom with air conditioner. Please note that the kitchen-living room has open areas and you are always in the fresh air and you have your own mini-garden with stones and plants right in the kitchen)) it was a wonderful experience. Of course, sometimes spiders and ants came to us, but you are in Bali and this is ok🤣 There were always clean towels and linen, the cleaning was excellent. The kitchen was clean, basic utensils were provided.
For management: it is good to put some more stones in the backyard (behind sofa)and paint the wall there. Thank you.
Hope we will come back again next year
