Jakarta Apartments

We stayed at Somerset Kencana Jakarta for the first time and really enjoyed it. The location is spot-on—easy to get around the city, with shops and dining right nearby and good transport links. The staff were genuinely helpful, quick with recommendations and extra requests without any fuss. Our room felt like a quiet retreat: clean, well laid out, comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches that made it easy to settle in. All in all, a smooth, welcoming stay that we’d happily repeat.

It's always a pleasure to return and stay here. Usually I'm alone, but this time I was with family. I always feel comfortable because I'm quite familiar with this apartment hotel. All the staff, from security to reception, are always very friendly and helpful, from arrival to check-out. The swimming pool offers fantastic views of Menteng and the surrounding areas – it's clean, comfortable, and peaceful. There was a slight misunderstanding when we ordered food for our children and their cousin in the room. They had to wait a long time for the food to arrive, and even then, it came without tissues or cutlery. While the semi-apartment rooms do have cutlery, it's only enough for two people, matching the room's capacity, whereas we had ordered four portions of food. The issue was that when we ordered for them, we had friends stop by, so we ended up eating outside the hotel and leaving them alone in the room. We only found out about this problem after we returned. We then spoke to the restaurant staff in the lobby, and after communicating with Mas Fauzi and Mba Sri, everything was resolved amicably. We hope this doesn't happen to other guests. Aside from that, we were allowed a late check-out the next day until 3 PM. We understand that everyone strives to provide the best for guests, and sometimes unexpected things happen that can be used for future learning. The entrance greeter assisted us with carrying our luggage and even opened the car door for us, which made us feel truly valued from the moment we arrived. I booked an apartment-style room that was perfect for a family stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and even came with a water dispenser. Although the hot water function was not working, we were still able to boil water using the pots and kettle provided. The washing machine was also a great addition, especially with its hot air drying function, which made doing laundry very convenient. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. It truly made my first trip to Jakarta an amazing and memorable experience.

The hotel is located above a shopping mall (2nd floor) and has dining options on the B1 level. It's safe and convenient, situated near embassies. The service is meticulous, and the rooms are large, comfortable, and overlook a rooftop garden.

Great location as across the street there is grand indonesia mall and another side across is thamrin city mall..around the area there is alot of street food and restaurants such as sederhana.Hotel staff is great too..friendly and very accomodative..the only dowside is the marble floor will get very slippery when kids soaked in the bathtub so if u have kids must be wary as the floor will get slippery.

An exceptional hotel! Truly stunning with breathtaking views that take your breath away. The staff is professional and friendly, with excellent service from start to finish. Everything is immaculately clean and meticulously organized. I had unforgettable day here. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to everyone.

This is the cheaper version of their Ra Suites which is also in Simatupang. This hotel is located in a quiter less traffic location compared to Ra Suites which is located beside 2 main roads. If you prefer a quiter environment this is much better. The suite is slightly similar layout as the Ra suites. Furnitures are all the same. Of course Ra Suites has more amenities like more towels. And the pool is situated on the ground floor next to the Layana restaurant (which is for breakfast).

Facilities: The facilities are new and well-equipped. Cleanliness: It's clean and tidy, with dedicated staff for cleaning. Environment: The environment is great, very quiet around, and convenient for getting anywhere. You can see the sea from the room, which is delightful. Service: The service is very attentive, and the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to nearby attractions. Although it only provides one-way service, it's still excellent.

The room and the view were both excellent. It was clean and tidy, highly recommended. The kitchen facilities were well-equipped, you could even cook your own meals.
