South Jakarta Apartments

The family room is very comfortable. It is very close to the MRT station and the financial institution area. There are not many breakfast items, but it has everything you need. It is a good place to stay for business trips and tourism.

Good location and have been staying here. But towels and bedsheets to change. Not white.

We stayed at Somerset Kencana Jakarta for the first time and really enjoyed it. The location is spot-on—easy to get around the city, with shops and dining right nearby and good transport links. The staff were genuinely helpful, quick with recommendations and extra requests without any fuss. Our room felt like a quiet retreat: clean, well laid out, comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches that made it easy to settle in. All in all, a smooth, welcoming stay that we’d happily repeat.

We love the apartment as it is a reputable hotel chain and it allows us to book more rooms for travellers who travelled as a  family. However, the hotel should replace all small and compact size toiletries to those bigger size toiletries installed in the toilet to reduce wastage of throwing the bottles and saving the earth. The master room toilet door was not user friendly and dangerous as if you accidentally closed the door by leaving your fingers slightly on the centre of the door, it will pinch your fingers painfully. Security in hotel is safe. The staff at the counter should be more friendly by smiling at all passing by customers. They will only smile at you when u walked to the counter to inquire some concerns.

This is my second time staying here, and its best feature is its proximity to the supermarket, which is incredibly convenient. The breakfast is also excellent, and the pool facilities are great. It's a fantastic value-for-money option, especially if you're traveling with three or more people.

2nd time in Jakarta but 1st time stayed in this hotel. the ambience just wow with friendly hotel staff. room was superb. we stayed 2nights with 5 people. hotel surroundings are quiet,hotel breakfast very nice. tq Somerset for the hospitality. definitely will come again and stay here 😉

A very high-quality accommodation experience. We booked a family room but only two people slept there. The facilities were complete. The hotel breakfast was also quite good. The location is excellent for work. Call grab food also convenient.

Great hotel residence. Connected to Pacific Place. Room very spacious and staff service very good.

This is the cheaper version of their Ra Suites which is also in Simatupang. This hotel is located in a quiter less traffic location compared to Ra Suites which is located beside 2 main roads. If you prefer a quiter environment this is much better. The suite is slightly similar layout as the Ra suites. Furnitures are all the same. Of course Ra Suites has more amenities like more towels. And the pool is situated on the ground floor next to the Layana restaurant (which is for breakfast).
