Hotel near Ikebukuro Commercial,Tokyo
Situated 8 minutes on foot from the station, this hotel offers a delicious Korean-style meal for breakfast. Guests here can savor mouthwatering Korean dishes. Internet connection is available free of charge. null

"The hotel is located on the west side of Ikebukuro. Be careful not to be misled by Google Maps when searching for an exit with luggage. Just head west and look for Exit C6 (which has up/down escalators) or Exit 14 (which has an elevator). Google Maps led me to the East Exit near Exit 38, and I had a tough time dragging my suitcases through Ikebukuro Station! There are station maps inside Ikebukuro Station that show which exits have elevators. The owner speaks Chinese, so communication was easy. It's the first time I've found a front desk that speaks Chinese after being in Japan for so long. The hotel feels more like a guesthouse and doesn't have an elevator. Guests on higher floors should be mindful of carrying luggage; fortunately, I was on the second floor this time. The common area has tables, a water dispenser, and a large refrigerator where you can store drinks or food like chocolate. Just be aware it's shared, so bag your items to prevent others from taking them. Unlike other hotels, there's no coffee machine in the common area, but instant coffee packets are available. There's also a microwave to heat up bento boxes. There are two men's and two women's shower rooms on the first floor, and another shower room on the top floor (4th floor). Fresh towels can be found in a bin near the entrance. There's no washing machine or dryer on-site. You'll need to walk across the street to a laundromat, which can be inconvenient if it's raining. The dryers at that laundromat seem more suited for large loads (starting at 8kg), which might be overkill for tourists with fewer clothes. It costs 100 yen for 8 minutes of drying. I chose to dry for 16 minutes and then took my clothes back to the hotel to air dry them overnight with the AC. If you don't mind a bit of a walk, Google Maps can show you another laundromat nearby where you can dry clothes for 10 minutes for 100 yen. Also, you need to buy detergent for 50 yen at the laundromat. (However, if the owner is around, you might be able to get a little laundry detergent from them. I once had some cotton dolls that needed cleaning and the owner helped me out with some detergent for a quick wash – just don't ask for too much.) The room is quite spacious, and the bed is wide. There's a small table for using a laptop or other items. All facilities are well-equipped. There are plenty of hooks for hanging clothes directly opposite the air conditioner, and you can adjust the airflow to help dry them. Upon entering the hotel, you need to take off your shoes and put them in the public shoe cabinet, which doesn't have a lock. There are shared slippers, but I brought my own as I felt the shared ones might not be very hygienic. Be careful not to leave your personal slippers in the common area; keep them in your room, otherwise, someone might wear them away (one of mine was taken, luckily I had another pair). When going upstairs, socks are fine. Near the hotel, there's a supermarket called Akashi Zatsujiten where you can buy inexpensive drinks, cheap fruits like bananas, and discounted bento boxes in the evening. It's open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 AM. The owner was very kind and helped me receive a package, which they placed directly in my room. It was merchandise from a Bandori Live event. A few days before the event, there weren't many Bandori fans, mostly Caucasians and Indians. But in the following days, many more Chinese people arrived, all carrying cotton dolls. You can email the hotel to ask for the package receiving address, just remember to include your name. Overall, this hotel is pretty good for Tokyo. It's close to Ikebukuro, making it convenient for travel, and also great for Bandori fans doing a pilgrimage. My suggestion for the hotel: Please add a curtain divider between the two public shower stalls downstairs. Currently, only one curtain covers both, though I haven't encountered two people showering at the same time yet."

Amazing
GGuest UserThis brand-new hotel, and more importantly, a brand-new concept, optimizes space to the extreme. The well-designed layout comfortably accommodates two beds, one large and one small, perfect for a family of three, eliminating the need for the mother and child to share a bed – incredibly practical! Especially in Tokyo's prime location, such spacious rooms are a rare find. The rooms are fully equipped with all the amenities guests might need, demonstrating a design and layout entirely from the guest's perspective – a truly comfortable stay! Another advantage is its convenient location in the heart of Akihabara, very close to the nearest Ginza Line subway station. JR lines and other subway lines are also nearby, covering most transportation needs – very convenient! Highly recommended!

IimjuliahiWe used a connecting room and it was great! It was furnished exactly as shown in the room information (floor plan), and everything was spotless. The dining table was large enough for four people, and having a toaster was perfect for a quick breakfast of toast. I'd love to stay here again~~ The hotel's location is also excellent; it's almost immediately visible when you exit Yushima Station, and it's a straight walk from Okachimachi Station or Ueno-Hirokoji Station. (However, if you're carrying luggage, Yushima Station requires using stairs, which can be a bit challenging ㅠㅠ)

TTim NazarovHotel has a convenient location with Otemachi station entrance in same exact building around the corner. A few 24h conbini’s are located around. We had a room facing the park with a stunning view at the sunset and Mt.Fuji. The room itself is clean and spacious, everything needed was inside, staff changed towels daily. Smoking room is around reception and is really comfy as there are 2 vending machines. The only downside - pool operating ours are ending early, which is a bit strange as walking around Tokyo usually does not end around 6-7 pm. and would be great to stretch you legs after a long walk swimming in a pool before going to sleep

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is clean and tidy, and the housekeeping team did a great job. The front desk staff were nice and welcoming, and the breakfast service in the morning was excellent. We were warmly greeted and served freshly baked croissants, which we really enjoyed. The only downside was that the room was small, which was slightly disappointing. However, overall we had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed both the accommodation and breakfast. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we return.

MMariia_We traveled with a group of five. The apartment was quite spacious for the number of people, very clean, with a balcony and a traditional-style room. It had everything necessary for a large group: two showers, toiletries for washing and bathing, a washing machine with detergent, shoe shine equipment, an iron, a small ironing board, and other household items. It's located a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Temple and about a 10-15-minute walk to the nearest subway station. There are several 7-11 stores, cafes, and bars nearby. The only downside is that you have to carry luggage up a rather small staircase to the 3rd floor, but overall, it's tolerable.

LLUCE‪ ·͜·This is just my impression of the room I stayed in. If you're just staying there, there's no problem overall. It feels like an apartment-type hotel. The only things I noticed were 1) the cleaning was a bit poor (there were a few hairs in the bathroom, there was quite a bit of dust in the bedroom, and there were still ice cubes in the freezer) 2) I don't recommend the shampoo (this may have only happened in the room I stayed in, but I think shampoo is especially uncomfortable for women. You might want to bring your own.) These are the only two things I can think of. There are no amenities, so you have to bring your own. There was a Panasonic hair dryer. There was a kitchen, so basic kitchen utensils were provided. (There was also a refrigerator and freezer.) There was a washing machine, powder detergent, and fabric softener. There was an extension cord. The common areas such as the entrance and stairs are a bit narrow, so it may be a bit difficult to bring large carry-on bags. The cleaning and amenities (including shampoo) were a bit poor, but other than that I had no particular problems, so I thought it was pretty good value for money.

GGuest UserWe booked for a stay for 10 days. Location wise its about a 5 min walk from Mikawashima station and 12 mins from Nippori Station. Only downside is that to get to Mikawashima you had to take the Joban line, which you had to change trains at either Ueno or Nippori. There is a 7/11 downstairs and a supermarket downstairs which makes buying snacks or drinks convenient. There was no elevator so expect to haul luggage up the stairs, best to request a level one or two room. I got a level 2 room which was adequate for us as it wasnt that much of a climb up. The room was small (expected of a tokyo apartment). The kitchen has plates, cups, pots, pans, kettle, a stove and a microwave. Great for cooking something or heating up a meal from the 7/11 downstairs. There was also a mini fridge to store drinks and such. Our room included 2 beds and a TV, along with a clothing rack and a wardrobe with an iron and ironing board inside it. One of the beds was squeaking alot when moving around in the bed, it wasnt very bad but it got abit annoying when moving around while sleeping at night. Clothing rack was placed right above our beds which i understand was due to the limited space. There are alternative places to hang clothes such as aforementioned wardrobe and in the toilet. The toilet included a smart toilet which had a bidet and heated seats, perfect for the cold weather. There was a washing machine inside, great for those on long stays. There was also a shower and bath included. Bath was pretty small but not surprising as Japanese bath were known to be small. Amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hairdryer, washing detergent and toothbrush set. You would also need to sort out your trash which was labelled nicely in english for us to understand. Overall for the price of this apartment, it was a great place with great amenities, better than what we had expected. Would definitely recommend.
