Seoul Apartments

I visited with a group of three, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay! The location is right in front of the airport terminal, which gave us immense peace of mind despite arriving late. Security is excellent—late at night, even the common areas require a key card for access, which made us feel completely safe. We were also genuinely touched by the thoughtful seasonal welcome gift. The amenities were incredibly well-designed. The hair dryer was powerful and convenient to use, with a temperature control button on top. After exploring during the day, we relaxed in the common area with some iced tea in the evening. I especially appreciated that the ice was pre-portioned into individual cups, which felt very hygienic. Since we arrived on a rainy day, having a clothes Styler to refresh my dress was an absolute lifesaver. The neighborhood is packed with fun local dining spots to choose from. I even tried Sundaeguk (Korean blood sausage soup) for the first time at Park Seobang Restaurant! On checkout day, we had some time before our flight, and the hotel's daytime luggage storage made everything so easy. As for the room, the bedding was light and incredibly cozy, ensuring a great night's sleep. I was initially a bit hesitant about the bunk beds, but they weren't uncomfortable at all and actually gave off a nostalgic, cozy childhood vibe. What really stood out was that the space didn't have that typical ”accommodation smell”; instead, it was filled with Near Blue’s pleasant signature scent, leaving us in a great mood until the very end. Between the wonderful stay and the sweet goodbye gift, I will remember this place for a long time. I will absolutely stay here again the next time I visit Seoul!

The location is absolutely fantastic, close to shopping areas, the subway, and the airport express train. The host was very responsive. It was a wonderful stay, highly recommended, and I'd definitely choose it again next time!

It was the first time I brought my friends to Korea and we decided to stay in WECO STAY insadong due to location since it was close to the train and bus and nearby Ikesondong and Jongno. (Walk to only just 5-10 mins) There were many convenient stores, restaurants, and coffee shop nearby along with olive young and daiso which is a plus for us. As for the rooms itself, comfy beds, nice amenities especially for the fridge, microwave and washer. Perfect for us who always had late night meal after the concert. Also the TV is huge and we’re really satisfy with it! The last thing i want to say is i really appreciate how helpful the staff was. We were having a difficult time with the TV at first but they helped us through and always answering every question quick (even it was around 10-11PM in the evening) If i have a chance to come to Korea again, i will think about staying in WECO STAY again 👍🏼

Great stay overall!The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the metro station. The neighborhood is quiet at night, making it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. The interior was clean and comfortable, with a cozy and well-maintained space. The self check-in process was smooth and very convenient. Highly recommended!

Originally booked for 2nights, ended up extending extra during our trip because everything really check our boxes off! Location, service, and just overall was amazing. Their check in process was a breeze too! And love the fact that you can leave your luggage before and after check out. Will definitely book again next time I'm back in town. 5/5

This was pretty much a self-service guesthouse, which made for an interesting experience. To be honest, up until I opened the room door, my experience wasn't great: Naver Maps was quite off with the location; the guesthouse is in a mixed-use commercial/residential building, and there's no clear sign outside, so I missed it the first time I walked past. Once inside, I initially didn't notice the notice on the wall by the entrance because the logo wasn't for this guesthouse. After searching for a bit, I finally found a QR code to scan on the wall directly opposite the entrance. The first code I scanned for information entry gave an error. Eventually, I found the correct QR code, registered my details, and received the room number and door code. The hallway outside the elevator also felt typical for a commercial/residential building, with some clutter. However, opening the door was a pleasant surprise: it was a very modern-style room with an enclosed small balcony, clean and tidy. The room was fully equipped with everything you could need: a large fridge, washing machine, induction hob, kitchenware, tableware, etc., and plenty of storage space. Instructions for some facilities could be found online by scanning a QR code, available in both Chinese and English. For a guesthouse, it met the standards of a hotel apartment, and it wasn't too far from the subway. For the price, it offered great value for money. The check-out process was incredibly simple – just scan a QR code and enter the room number. Of course, there were also quite a few drawbacks, mainly concerning the manuals for electronic devices. The buttons here are all in Korean, naturally. While the guesthouse's provided guide had corresponding translated instructions for the air conditioner, TV, and washing machine, it was clear from the cover page that these instructions were for the equipment in their Myeongdong branch, whereas the equipment in the Seocho-gu branch where I stayed was quite different. First, a pitfall was the washing machine. The guesthouse's guide stated the washing machine had a dryer function, and the panel certainly looked like it did. However, the washing machine in my room actually didn't have a dryer, meaning I couldn't dry my clothes after washing them (I confirmed with a translation app that the guesthouse's description was indeed incorrect). There was a wardrobe with a drying function, but its effect was very weak; it was actually less effective than simply air-drying clothes in the air-conditioned room. Next was the TV. The fact that the remote control model was completely different from the one in the guide was a minor issue; in reality, besides the power button, pressing any other button yielded no response. These issues were still manageable, as not everyone might have the same needs. However, the WiFi simply wouldn't connect, constantly giving an error. Failing at something so basic is an unforgivable problem. Checking out requires guests to dispose of their own trash. Yet again, the same problem arose: the trash disposal route described in the guide was not for this establishment. I ended up having to take my trash with me and dispose of it at the subway station. In conclusion, the value for money is indeed good, but there's significant room for improvement in terms of attention to detail.

I came to Seoul with my parents and daughter for a concert and some sightseeing. Initially, my parents were a bit hesitant about staying in an apartment hotel, but they were quite pleased once we arrived. Aside from the price being a bit high due to the many concerts and the space being a little small, everything else was well-equipped. There's an induction cooker, pots, pans, and even a washer-dryer. The best part is the super-sized fridge, perfect for storing lots of food. The trash sorting was a bit of a hassle, and the lack of daily cleaning was a minor drawback, but still acceptable. I hope they can provide more trash bags in the room. The hotel's location is great, just a few minutes walk from Subway Lines 3 and 4. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street, and CU and Olive Young are nearby, plus plenty of dining options. Airport buses 6015 and 6001 stop right by Subway Exit 8. We attended two concerts; the hotel is super close to Jangchung Arena, just one subway stop away. Jamsil Arena is a bit further, but we could avoid the crowded Line 2 on the way back by taking the less busy Line 9. Overall, it was a good stay, and if I come back for another concert in the city, I'd likely choose this place again!

I stayed here alone. The location is great, right across from a convenience store. Check-in was super smooth since there's no need for a formal check-in process. I just used the room number sent to me via email on the day of arrival and went straight to my room. The entrance is shared with WICCOSTAY, so you just take the elevator up. The kitchenette, along with the full-sized fridge and freezer, was incredibly convenient, making it feel like I was living there. Unlike traditional hotels, there's no complimentary water, so I bought a 2-liter bottle from the convenience store across the street. I brought my own slippers, toothbrush, and pajamas as they weren't provided. However, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, face wash, hand soap, toothpaste, and laundry detergent were all available. I can't comment on the quality of the toiletries as I used my own. The toilet is flushable, and there were three spare rolls of toilet paper. There are no sanitary bags, so guests who need them might want to bring their own opaque bags. For my three-night stay, there were two large and five small towels in the bathroom from the start. The shower and toilet are separated by a door, so there's no worry about the floor getting wet. There was a slight drain-like odor, but it was tolerable. Disposing of trash is self-service but not difficult. New trash bags are located in the shoe cabinet. Outlets were conveniently located in the kitchen, next to the bed, and by the TV, so I didn't have any issues. However, I wished there was an outlet in the bathroom for the hairdryer. I ended up using the kitchen outlet and the mirror there to dry my hair. Overall, the room felt very clean and well-maintained. I appreciated not having daily housekeeping, as it meant I could stay in the room at any time without interruption. The price was also very reasonable, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Stay Nine, a guesthouse in Seoul, is a bit far out; you need to take a bus after the subway. However, the rooms are spacious and well-equipped with both underfloor heating and air conditioning. There's also a charming rooftop terrace where, on a sunny day, the light streams in through the roof-mounted glass, giving it a very European feel.
