Excellent stay , neat and clean

The owner just asked me on the phone to get the keys. The rooms are clean and the parking is OK, but you have to go up the stairs. It's almost like no WiFi. You can connect but can't do anything.

Hygiene is very poor. I would not recommend it. The bathroom smells very bad. I would not recommend it.

Even if you arrive late, you will receive a letter telling you how to enter the room, saying that the door is not locked, the specific location of your stay, and how to check out the next day. The location is very good, less than ten minutes drive from the puffing train, and the house is very cute.

The property was advertised as a premium suite. It was looking tired and in need of refurbishment. The bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom in need of upgrade e.g. only two of 5 lights were working, shower head needs replacing. Convenient and quiet location and ample car parking. Not quite what we expected.

I booked this property as there was very limited options in Apollo Bay on the weekend I stayed. First the good news - the property is reasonably close to the main centre of Apollo Bay. Also, the fellow that I spoke to on the phone to finish my check in was helpful and polite. It was quiet during my stay with a bit of noise from guests coming in and going, but nothing to loud. Now, onto the bad news. If you are hoping that the property is on the beach - it is not. The property is old and desperately needs an overhaul. The decor looked like something out of a 1970s beachside sit-com. My room (an Executive room?) wasn't exactly flash. The appliances were old (I was too scared to use the microwave, which I think was built in the early 1900s). The use of a curtain to separate the bathroom/toilet from the living/sleeping space was novel, but hardly appropriate for an Executive Room. The bed was uncomfortable and I don't think there was airconditioning or at least none that I could see. Would I stay there again? No but if you are more interested in the beach than the standard of your accomodation, then this place might work for you.

The worst we have ever experienced. The shoe box sized room faced west but no aircon; the tiny TV’s remote did not work. We had a shared bathroom (!!!) but no wash basin in the room. There was parking - on the street. At no time did we see a real person.

Clean and tidy accomodation very close to the beach and walkable distance to town. Our room had a large bathroom but the bedroom was small. Also there was no air conditioning in the room.

The shower was awful. Didn’t work properly. Was dusty inside. For the price can understand with location but very disappointed.

Really enjoyed our stay and lovely having our own balcony and also a bath in the bathroom. Checking in was easy too

Good enough for family stay. Easy to contact staff for late check in and early check out.

Property is nice but need to clean some of things like toaster and cigarette pan.
