Ho davvero troppo da dire su questo albergo, non posso fare a meno di condividere. Mi piace sempre segnalare chi lavora bene e mette la soddisfazione del cliente in cima ai propri pensieri, ma qui si sono superati. Sono arrivata per caso, in fuga da un Airbnb scalcinato e senza finestre(sic!); dopo una lunghissima giornata al mare, ho trovato posto in questo hotel, polo industriale di Pomezia, diceva Google maps. Vabbè, niente vista mare, pazienza, andiamo. L' Hotel di per sè ha un fascino tipico degli anni '80 - 90, niente fronzoli e niente minimalismo, un classico albergo grande, più per persone tipo congressisti che per vacanzieri, ho pensato. Niente di più sbagliato: intanto, pulizia perfetta degli ambienti, nessun odore di polvere - chi è allergico sa di cosa parlo - e semplicità elegante e gradevole ovunque. Camera: gigante, spaziosa, con finestra e balconcino, grande bagno con vasca e finestra. Insonorizzazione eccellente, libreria in camera con qualche volume, ripeto zero polvere.E fin qui. Ma le sorprese sono arrivate tutte dopo: dopo essermi infilata in un letto con lenzuola freschissime e morbide, mi sono goduta la climatizzazione perfetta - era il 22 agosto, caldino fuori . Al mattino: mai dormito meglio in vita mia! Spalle, collo schiena, tutto riposato e sgranchito, non so spiegarvi l'estremo benessere, ma vi dico solo che ho chiesto in reception dove poter trovare materasso e guanciali cosi morbidi! Non capita sempre di alzarsi perfettamente riposati e ristorati, senza doloretti o rigidità; ancora sorpresa, siamo scesi in sala colazione e ci siamo trovati davanti ad un tavolo infinito carico di dolci - ciambelloni, crostate, biscotti - yogurt, miele, marmellate, burro, uova, succhi, formaggi pane e ogni altra delizia possibile, compresa la frutta fresca e le bevande calde a richiesta o dalla macchina in sala. Veramente tutto eccellente. Per farvela breve, da allora in poi se vado al mare l'idea è sempre fermarmi almeno una notte, per completare il perfetto benessere della mini vacanza. Menzione speciale alle persone che ci lavorano, sorridenti e pazienti come in effetti dovrebbe essere ma non è certo scontato, no? Vi ringrazio tutti, a presto!

The view from the balcony is amazing...being right on the beach is such a convenience, especially with small children. There are quite a few steps to go down (good workout!) and there's a nice bar with food & drinks halfway down. Unfortunately we didn't use the pool because you have to pay extra (8 euros a day) but that's ok because the sea is crystal clear and clean...really great! We brought our own umbrella and didn't use the beach loungers available (weren't sure if you could just take them or not). But beach is small and not too overcrowded. Nice swimming, good walk to other beaches with beach bars. The room is small and simple and the main building is a very outdated but for the price/location it's a great deal! It takes 5 minutes by car to arrive at the center of Anzio...full of restaurants and a cute piazza with lots of people. The staff was friendly and helpful. Free parking right across the street. Plus if you need the parking along the beach is free too. We will be back!

I arrive at night (h. 1:30) back from an international journey, with a change of time band, I just hope I can sleep a little. Noise is intolerable, it is a forced wake like a caserma. When I finally washed and dressed, I go out in the corridor, I see one of the workers out of a room that cleaned the door pulling it out ... Here's the main cause of those noisy hits that they felt! No delicacy, no accuracy for those who might still be in bed. In the end, I had not only the unfortunateness of living with a poor and noisy client (and here the fault is not of the hotel, but it is not a little careful to recommend silence in the corridors), But there is also the 8:15 pm awakening that makes it unrecommended to stay for those who need a real rest. For the rest, decent location, friendly reception service, quality/price ratio in line with the Roman standard exoses.

It is advertised as a charming place, but as a stay location leaves a lot to desire. We returned here for the second year, hoping to find improvements, but that was not the case. Leaving the details of hygiene in the rooms, perhaps the only thing that is saved, with some reservations, is the pool. If you have a hillside, you should at least give the chance to drink water and coffee, but you can also die under the sun because the kiosk doesn't open before 12 pm. A child wounded in water on the inner edge of the bath, which was cutting because of the stripped maiolics. When it comes to breakfast, what is expected to be the most cocktail moment by a structure, it is disappointed by the presence of a single service person who alternates between a bank and a dozen tables in the room. The waiting times are clearly nervous. Quality also decreased, 3 types of cakes but nothing exceptional, especially a little thrown there without a label describing their ingredients. Later night, the outer event starts. 18th birthday with so much Dj, music, dance, songs and fireworks... all in the inner square nearby the apartments. I ask for the reception, but the answer was that they had nothing to do with the events! I reply, so who protects guests of the accommodations, since you are closed at 21 p.m.? We finally went out for a tour around to avoid discussions, but at our return (24:45) the celebrations were still ongoing, followed by greetings, laughters and doors. We still talk about a charming resort where to spend a vacation in total relaxation?

We stayed at this lovely little hotel for 10 nights. We chose Serpa because it gives excellent access to Rome, only an hour away by train from the nearby station Marechiaro. British visitors will be astonished at the low fares and efficient service that Trenitalia offers. We recommend using Trainline to book tickets. Travel into Anzio town and nearby Nettuno is also easy on the local buses, and there’s plenty to see and do. We thoroughly recommend the two beachhead museums and the Anglo-US cemeteries are well worth a visit. It pays to download the free Cotral app to get real-time bus schedules. Practicalities aside, we were very pleased with the service Serpa provides. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the sea view from the balcony rooms is commanding. The aircon is free and very efficient; there are abundant charging points; the shower is excellent; plenty of storage space, and the bed was comfortable with linen changed every day. Our only criticism is that the Wi-Fi signal is patchy and sometimes erratic, especially if you are outside. Breakfast is served in a dedicated area, and though not sumptuous, the fare on offer is varied and tasty with excellent fresh coffee on request. The reception staff are also extremely helpful (our thanks to Carlotta, Ryan, Paul and Bernadette for their superb service.) Serpa does not have a pool or a bar, although you can order drinks at Reception and add the bill to your room tab. There’s a small supermarket up the hill about 10 minutes away, and a variety of eateries within easy walking distance. So if you are planning to lap up the delights of Rome, or maybe explore the history of the 1944 Anzio landings, Serpa Hotel will not disappoint.
