We were recommended the hotel by a friend as a good base for a skiing holiday in the Dolomites. Having never visited the region before we wanted a comfortable hotel, close to the lifts and that is exactly what we got. The hotel is very well situated with a fantastic boot room to store skis, boots, helmets, etc. If you were to be a summer visitor it also had a bike wash. The Porto Vescovo lift is about 150 metres away and the Burz lift is only slightly further. We had a very comfortable room on the second floor that had recently been refurbished. Great shower with a bath and plenty of hot water. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and we were on a dinner bed and breakfast deal so enjoyed a four course dinner each night. A great salad/ appetiser selection each night and good choices of pasta and soup as well as mains. Wine list is very reasonably priced with a great choice; we tried to stick to the local options. Staff are all very helpful and friendly and the bar is a good option for a drink when finished skiing as the sun is on the terrace. The bar does get busy at times with locals so grab your pre-dinner drink spot early.

We love staying at the Hotel Malita...it is perfect for a group- friendly/good value ski holiday. The breakfast / dining room is welcoming and the menu and breakfast choices are varied and delicious! The team are super-accommodating too with food intolerances and fussy eaters..no one ever leaves hungry! The rooms are mostly newly renovated and comfortable and quiet Reception and the Bar area are fun and great for socialising Finally the location is about as close as you can get to the 2 main lifts, and a great Spar mini-market for extra food/ gifts and shopping essentials Hold a spot for us Malita...we cant wait to come back!

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 10 years. As always the staff are friendly and amazingly accommodating. Nicola the maitre d’ in the restaurant is exceptionally friendly and efficient. We booked through the brilliant British ski company Simply Dolomiti who work tirelessly to ensure things run smoothly and that you have a good time. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable and the food is plentiful and of good quality. A great place to stay in the area.

When the waiter (Nicola) remembers yours, husbands and friends' favourite dishes from 3 years ago, there's got to be something special about this place. Eating off the great set menu was no problem and you may be treated to some singing by waiter "Happy" at breakfast. Room very comfortable and bathroom looked new. Good atmosphere in the bar. Very close to bottom lifts and central in village. All organised for us by Alice and Mogens Kristensen at Simply Dolomiti who cannot do enough for their guests. Booked with them for many years now and wouldn't consider going with anyone else. My only gripe with the hotel was the pillows, but then I didn't ask and they may well have alternatives on offer.

Visited as a family for a ski holiday with Simply Dolomiti. The hotel has around 27 rooms and is large enough to have atmosphere but small enough to be personal. We were dinner B&B and the food was excellent in the main but our vegetarian had to ask to eat off the daily menu. This was no problem. The room were spacious, comfortable and clean. Not many ski holiday hotels have spacious rooms. The boot room was also spacious with locked lockers for each bedroom. The best I’ve been in over 25 years. The walk to the lifts was 5 minutes. The staff were uniformly outstanding from reception to bar to restaurant. All in all a very nice hotel. They also cater for cyclists in the summer with bike cleaning facilities in the boot room. I might well give it a try!

A cozy hotel, simple but very comfortable, with great attention to detail, right next to the Porta Vescovo cabin lifts. Excellent dinner is served with courtesy. You can tell the place has a good reputation because the bar is a local hangout. Definitely will repeat.

Bevande in self service in macchinetta.
