Truly proving the recognition and hype about Sardinia having the worlds best and most beautiful beaches, Arbatax Park Resort, has lived up to our wildest expectations and beyond. Staying at the Telis standard apartments we where first pleasantly met by super service as we where picked up at after parking our car at 3 o clock in the night, by the staff that checked us in and dropped us off at our top notch room, very tired. After a good night sleep we woke up the the most fantastic peek to a azure blue sea ind the horizon between all the trees and huts nested in to the terrain slanting towards the ocean. A truly magnificent resort. Everyday started up with the included breakfast buffet, which was really descent, and flexibility high with openings from 7.30 - 10. Good coffee and friesd eggs and off course don’t miss the fresh pomodoros and peaches ;) From a solid start we would enjoy the rest of the daytime at the resorts multiple beaches where you could even move through the day or pick your favorite spot and stay there near the beach bars or even just plant yourself on one of the enormous soft beach rocks. Waters where crystal clear and warm even mid September In the afternoon we would deeply recommend going to the tennis courts or paddle, where Marco was a huge champ in getting us equipped and ready and coached for bettering our play. Huge pleasure. Our favorite evening restaurants would be the non-buffet (just our style) with great specialties at restaurant Sarda (a bruschetta to die for) and Pizzaria L’Oasi with a really really great stone oven pizza and wine to fair prizes. Live music was played every evening really Italian and charming. Also shows and movies are on show at the amphitheater. Boat trips are available to the insane cave and coves. Don’t miss the 8 hour boat trip to Cala Luna and many other breathtaking spots to the coast north of Arbatax. Also there’s roofless buses and electric vehicles shuttling you around the 60 hektar site, but we always walked. All in all this stay has been a wonderful experience secluded, luxurious, authentic and relaxing in the most beautiful surroundings - couldn’t ask for anything better. Thanks to the sweet staff. Big recommendation from Jacob and Victoria, Telis room 145.

Do not stay here please believe all the reviews. I have never known a more disgustingly dirty place. No covers on outside terrace furniture.. There is black slime on all the floor tiles around the pool area You have to walk through it to enter the pool…. Areas where the sunbeds and tables are the flooring never cleaned old food stains and drink stains not mopped up or cleaned up .Dead birds left to rot on the floor . Flys and wasps all over the Buffett food ( no covers ) .. Dirty everywhere!! I really wish I could leave photos on here as I have so many to show you. Please believe all the terrible reviews they are true they are not exaggerated… the place really does need shutting down. It’s a major health hazard.

We didn’t stay here, but visited the animal park. The animals are so skinny and aren’t kept well, that I wouldn’t trust to stay here. All of the horses ribs could be seen and there is an overcrowding of donkeys. It was super sad to see.

My husband and I stayed here and booked through Secret Escapes so were expecting a resort as depicted in the photographs - this was not the case! Photos must have been taken some time ago as the resort was dated and tired. We booked half board expecting the flexibility to eat in 3 different restaurants on the park - unfortunately the restaurants were under one roof, serving much the same food. We did eat in one of the other restaurants but had to pay 35 euros per person to do so. The resort is very isolated and you are reliant on the resort taxi to ferry you to your car, which one day involved a half hour wait and a rather scary ride back to our room with people packed into the jeep like cattle (my husband sat on the floor and I sat on his knee). Not that there's much outside the report unless you are prepared to travel, which I'm glad we did as we found some lovely beaches a couple of hours drive away. We left 3 nights early and booked an Airbnb in Cagliari, which really made up for the disappointing start to our holiday. When I was asked at Reception why I was leaving early I said I was disappointed with the food and lack of things to do, I was then asked to sign a waiver to say I would not seek compensation, which I refused and said I would take it up with my tour operator.

Lovely location, good amenities . Some staff were not very helpful or maybe not trained well? Possibly the season end being due meant they were tired and desperate to get away? Seemed to lack management/organisation. Main park could do with more activities on site for all ages? We left 2 days early due to boredom really. Shame as there is so much potential there.

My mum and I holidayed here for a week (24/9-1/10). When I booked it I didn’t realise how huge the resort was! It’s made up of multiple hotels and you really feel nestled into an eco friendly landscape within the hotel. Everything is beautiful, from the reception area, the multiple pools, the stunning private beaches and more. Our room was large and honestly did need a bit of updating. But had what we needed including air con and extra pillows. More toiletries would have been nice in the room and maybe a thin curtain to reduce other guests seeing into our room. The location of our room was great, a small walk to the closest restaurant and easy to find our way to the beaches and pools. The shuttle bus to the various parts was also handy. We had half board basis and I can honestly say the evening meals were exceptional on most nights! Huge variety each day….i had everything from fresh octopus, mullet and swordfish, to beef steak, pork loin and copious amounts of mussels and shellfish. Great selection if you’re veggie and it was nice to notice some of the ingredients being used the next day in salads or side dishes to avoid waste! Breakfast was good at best. There are a lot of wasps in the area, but there are natural traps to help control it and they’re not so pesty we couldn’t enjoy our breakfast…. We just sat away from the balcony. We appreciate it’s an eco reserve so there’s not a lot to be done.

It's kind of an odd, huge place with 40 acres of ground. It's basically all-inclusive, which is not really my 'thing', but there was no other vacancies in other hotels. There are huge multi seat jeep/machines that will take you around. We checked in in the afternoon and had to wait an hour for our room. I hadn't eaten all day so the only thing we could find to eat was a stale tuna sandwich with not much on it. There was no place to sit in the bar and it was super hot, so we sat down in the shade at a vacant restaurant. We were being very neat and respectful. A woman came rushing up and started screaming and yelling at us saying we were not welcome and we needed to leave immediately! It was shocking to say the least. We had hardly even disturbed the table we were at. We almost checked out and left at that point, but when we got into our room, everything changed. We had a suite by the sea and it was huge and beautiful. The room had a large living area with sofas, and a separate bedroom area. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. Breakfast was good and we are staying for dinner tonight. it's nice to walk around such a big natural area. We hiked around the whole place this morning. Not a bad stay after all.

Booked with Hays, 3 things on our list which were important. Boutique hotel, not for children and walking distance of local restaurants. We got this large resort full of mostly families with children, not within walking distance of any local town / restaurants so we were stuck in resort for entire holiday. Sun beds and umbrellas on beach not in good condition, many broken. My fiend had broken door to her room and reported it they looked at it and said it needed a part it was never fixed ! Lots of wasps in self service restaurant in morning. There were only 2 restaurants worth eating in, both quite expensive ! Nothing much to do went to one concert and bus came to pick up half full already and lots of people left waiting. Walked back to room, badly lit not many directions lots of up hill climbing which was not easy for friend with knee injury ! Our pool was ok but constant dropping of leaves and bark strips off of the trees. Generally very disappointing
