Motel 6 Arcata, CA – Cal Poly Humboldt

Okay for one night.

Despite all the other hotels around Motel 6 that costs more, we weren't dissappointed at all with Motel 6. For the lower price, Motel 6 at this location was great! Will use again when I visit my son in Arcata.

For the nightly rate this property was a fairly good deal. The room was clean, the shower had good pressure, and the beds were very comfy. There were a couple of cigarette burn holes in one of the bed covers though. Check in and check out were relatively easy. Would stay there again when in the area.

Very clean and safe property, extremely courteous, Hotel staff. Management is on property 24 hours a day in case you need help with anything.

I was there 5 days 4 nights and all that time not once did my room get cleaned in any way , I had a full a full trash can by the end of my stay . Had to use the same towels every day . And the reason I never said anything at the front desk, it was to see how long they would last and to my surprise ended up being for the time I was there . Old mattress, old curtains with holes and an old AC unit . By far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed.

Ultra comfy bed, but odd shower with low water pressure and not-quite hot water. Very noisy people upstairs. Weird virtual check-in, difficult to understand the very thick accent, but he was helpful enough.

Sheets where stained the floor was coming apart the refrigerator was dirty and moldy
