Super 8 by Wyndham Arcata

There were a couple of cracks in the bath tub area and some of the paint/wallpaper was chipping away on the wall towards the ceiling in the bathroom.

A little outdated but it was clean and kept up. Their service was kind a helpful. If your looking for a decent place to lay your head down for the night, this place isn't bad for the price.

Well, upon arriving at the hotel, I did not see any staff members except for construction workers on site. I would not have stayed there if I had known a few things beforehand. I checked in through a live person on camera, and later found out that the staff handling check-ins and check-outs were physically located in India. I just hope Super 8 has a strong protocol in place to protect guests’ personal information, since I was required to scan my ID and credit card during the check-in process.

Room was clean but needs updating. The carpeting in the steps was nasty. They had a virtual check in person. The neighborhood was scary in front of the building. I would recommend the back if you need to go outside.

I would not recommend staying here. Front desk wasn't very friendly, you can hear everything in the room from the hallway, outside, etc. I woke up with a rash from the sheets. Overall just bad, spend the extra money and go elsewhere.

The flooring of the main lobby are falling apart they have tape holding the floors down! Tripping hazards!

Dirty floors in room. Ho l es in wall. Cigarettes burns on tables. Door latch broken could not open to get out.MAJOR FIRE HAZZARD. Virtual check in kiosk. Could mot hear clerk. I won't stay there again
