Decent small hotel with good facilities but unfortunately most of them weren’t open when we visited. Weather was lovely but pool was closed. Also the restaurant was closed too so we ate out. Room was well equipped and very nice. Gardens lovely but with the bar closed it was nicer to go elsewhere.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel nestled in the heart of town. The staff were really welcoming and helped a couple of mad wild swimmers find a safe bit of river to swim in. We really appreciated them letting us continue in our faltering French even though they spoke English. This is a rare treat and helps us improve. The reception staff were patient and offered the right amount of prompting when needed. We ate in the restaurant which was another great experience. Decent value food, well presented and attentive waiting staff. The room was fine, quite quirky in layout and decor, the air conditioning really appreciated. All in all a fantastic stay, we will be back.

Déjeuner sans réservation, Dimanche dernier, dans cet hôtel restaurant que nous ne connaissions pas, étant de passage dans la région pour la première fois. Acceuil souriant malgré l'arrivée tardive de tout le personnel et en particulier des propriétaires, très pros qui apparemment viennent de reprendre cette affaire tout récemment. Nous avons pris le menu. Entrées ,risotto et foie gras, puis filet de Bar et crêpes flambées par le propriétaire devant vous. Tout était excellent et sans fausse note. Nous avons passé un excellent moment.

Quel déception . Tout ressemble au sablier du temps sauf la cuisine . 47 euros pour un steak frites . Je ne comprends pas . Pas l’ombre de mets cuisinés. Courage à eux car ils reprennent une maison de haute qualité , les argentacois ne seront pas dupes . Pardon pour ce message mais il faut revoir , créer et surtout rester dans des prix proportionnels à ce qui est proposé .

Le Sablier du Temps offre un excellent accueil, une ambiance conviviale, des repas délicieux avec service impeccable; les chambres sont lumineuses et amples; et le lit très confortable. Ce séjour à été un vrai plaisir.

Sejour tout a fait correct sauf pour le principe du traversin sans taie de traversin mais avec le drap de lit autour. Resultat le matin vous etes à meme le traversin comme tous les autres clients donc pas hygiénique du tout

Chambre propre et très spacieuse, literie confortable. Troisième étage côté rue : pas bruyant et très beau coucher de soleil. Personnel très accueillant. Petit déjeuner très correct Jolie piscine On reviendra si l'occasion se présente
