Checking in was easy and we were greeted by the manager Mario who was great and really looked after us. Please be advised it's 7 Euros per night to be paid in cash for the hotel tax, we already knew this but it caught other people out who were checking in. The room was an apartment not connected to the hotel, it was approx a 5 minute walk to get back to the hotel. It is hilly but we are a younger couple so did not really effect us. The room was clean, we had a really good view from our balcony and it was tidied every day with fresh sheets, towels and the rubbish taken away. The food was a little repetitive after awhile, the breakfast is definitely the best bit with fresh pastires, fresh fruit, and all the usual full English items you would expect, the egg options were omlete, fried and scrambled. The lunch did slightly vary day by day, there was always fish dishes, meat dishes like pork gyros, fries and a fresh salad bar with things like olives and potato salad. There was always desserts and ice creams available. The snacks are between 16.00 and 17.00 placed outside the restaurant which are the left overs from lunch. The evening food pretty much same as the lunch food. The pool area was never too busy and never struggled to get a sun lounger. You can get seats right next to the outside bar which is handy! The entertainment always started at 21.00 and it was every 2 nights we had a guitar player Monday night, Greek dancers Wednesday night and a singer Friday night. The all inclusive drinks are 10.00 to 23.30 and alcohol wise there is lager, wine, spirits and cocktails, it's what you would expect with all inclusive drinks they're watered down but you can order as many drinks as you want at a time so it didn't really matter. You are allowed to take drinks back to your room but they do not stock up your fridge in the room. Outside the resort down the ramp and on the right (takes 2 minutes to get to some local bars) we had drinks at Skala which was 6 euros for a Mythos . They have seats looking out onto the sea. They have stairs down to the beach. It is a very rocky beach so you'll need to wear shoes in the sea! On our last night, we ate at a restaurant next door to Skala called The View. Fresh seafood and steaks was very nice and came to 80 euros with drinks. We did go to the rooftop bar at the resort when we got back, you do have to pay but the drinks are alot better you can get some amazing photos Over all we loved out stay and ask for Mario he will keep you right!
