Holiday Inn Arlington at Ballston Reviews

The hotel was quite centrally located. Metro is 10 to 15 min walk but the bus stop is around 5-7 min. There was also a Target nearby. The hotel do have, washing machine, dryer, ice machine an a gym which is good enough for me and my friends. The hotel was also reasonable price and the TV do have a lot of channels to watch. For improvement, The TV was quite a old model and hope the hotel will change all.

Great service in Holiday inn! Definitely will stay in here when I visit US next time.

Front desk is friendly and helpful to allow us to leave our luggage stored for free till our room is ready to check-in. Room is well kept and clean, however furnitures a bit old but still acceptable for us. Need to bring own bedroom slippers for all hotels in USA. Location to downtown just took Lyft which is not too expensive in Washington D.C.

The location was easy to get to the metro and plenty of good food around. Room was a bit dated but good for the price

Convenient location, close enough to metro station. Very fast internet. $20 per day for parking.

Disappointing Experience – Unhelpful Staff and Poor Service The staff at this hotel were generally unhelpful. Whenever I asked for assistance, the common response was, “We don’t know, you can ask the relevant person, or try to do by yourself” which is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. There was little to no effort to actually solve my concerns. Another major inconvenience was the door key cards, they constantly needed to be reactivated every few hours, which was frustrating and disruptive. On a positive note, they did help me with an umbrella when needed, but overall, the experience fell short of expectations. I would not choose to stay here again.

Very happy for the first staying in this hotel.  Will come next time.

The location is great! Just a 5-min walk from Ballston MU Subway Station. The hotel needs renovation. The lifts were alike those in the days of 1970s, and needed to be replaced. I checked in the hotel at around 4-5pm, the process was slow, as only one staff was on-duty. My room was spacious, though the furnitures were old-fashioned. The bedding sheets were quite new. My room was on the 6th floor facing the main road, but not much traffic noise heard at night time.

It was a pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Arlington/Ballston. We had a clean room and fine amenities.

Decent stay for a couple days trip

Great location. Restaurant on premises only use if exhausted, much better options within 5 minutes walk. All in all, a good hotel
