Historic hotel with commanding views of the famous harbor. Nice clean space with comfortable beds and linens. Delicious breakfast, fresh warm baguettes from local bakery. V. helpful staff, special thanks to Isabel!

Wonderful little beachfront hotel with equally breathtaking and moving views of Normandy beaches and the remnants of the artificial harbor built for D Day. Arromanches is a picturesque town and not far from Beayaux for access to train and tours. Hotel also had a great restaurant with amazing seafood.

Lovely corner room with beautiful views of the beach and mulberry harbor remains. The big soaking tub made it ideal for me. Breakfast was good and more than continental. We had a group 3 course dinner that was very good with excellent service. The dining room is huge and wraps around the ground floor. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. ````

We loved the location. It was a bit tricky to find but there were locals that helped us quickly. The restaurant was exceptional and we ate there both nights (stayed 2 nights). Front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was a bit meagre but adequate. We are Canadians and we loved the proximity to Juno Beach and the visitors centre. Thanks you for being great hosts. We would easily return.

It was my Dads 80th. Very rude waiter with tatoos, poorly dressed for a posh restaurant where the bill came to £800 for 14 people. He put wine bottle onthe table, did not pour it and did not acknowledge me when i spoke to him. Wont be going back !

Just had a drink at lunch time . Angry young man took half of my order ! Flounced off ! Came back and I ordered another drink to finish my order he raised his voice and was verbally abusive in French unfortunately for him I speak little French but understand more . Really taken back by this aggressive reaction . The village is successful in the back of tourism , liberation , !!!!’ Thanks for great wine but myself and future clients won’t be back

Had lunch here in 2019 and promised ourselves we would be back, so we did. Nice rooms, some of the with view on the sea and the remains of the artificial WWII port. Lots of street noise, but it was really very hot when we were there. Restaurant is fab. Good breakfast. No parking, but lots of public parking in town (you really need luggage on wheels, it can be a bit far). Visited in high season, and were happy, but maybe this is even nicer outside of the summer, as it was really very busy (july).

My wife and myself had booked a table in the restaurant as we were recommended the food was good . We we only staying two nights in Arromaunche . The service and location very nice but the food very very poor we had Thai prawns,and then lamb and chicken one bottle of wine total bill 91 euros . Really taking the Micky It will be the last time we ever go there. Please be careful if you go to this place

Pleasant old hotel right on the beach right in the centre of Arromanches. Comfortable rooms and beds with good bathrooms. Parking involved finding a spot in a public carpark close by - which was no drama. Be prepared to climb stairs. The hotel restaurant is managed separately. It doesn’t retain any antique charm even though the hotel is quite old. But it has great views over the sea. We enjoyed the oysters (Marais) - but be prepared to pay (€24 a dozen). Other dishes were also excellent - especially the artichaut tzatziki, avocat crevette and the calamari. But with two bottles of Chablis the bill was perhaps inevitably pretty high - €223 for three.
