Art Hotel Asahikawa Reviews

1st time book this hotel. I try coz I see the review of the hotel is not bad so I decided to try. Really no disappointed. The environment and rooms are good, just a little bit small. May choose bigger room next time. Is really convenient, just walk about 8min will reach all places for shopping n food.

The hotel is not exactly in the city centre, but is close to a park with easy access to local restaurants. The hotel room is spacious. The spa centre is well-equipped too. However, the hotel of this size only has two lifts, so the queue is always long.

The hotel is good but there are 2 car parks. One is at the hotel building one is 2 blocks away. Staff is with language barrier. He asked us to park at the carpark 2 blocks away and we asked if we could park at hotel, he didn’t answer and kept saying we should park farther carpark. We asked reception at hotel and she said there is height restriction at hotel carpark but our car didn’t seem to be over the limit.

Would have chosen a different hotel, staffs are not very welcoming. There is any amenities nearby. Breakfast is good and strongly recommended if you have decided this location.

I stayed at Art Hotel twice. The first time was great, they gave me a deluxe room on the top floor. This recent trip, I was put in a side room which had not been cleaned - human hairs had been wiped all over the scuffed up walls, and even little moleskine band-aids were stuck all over the bathroom. This was really shocking considering how luxury the hotel feels from the lobby. I think MyStays corporate would be interested to know that one of their properties is being run this badly. Is this one of those super racist Japanese hotels where, if you're a foreigner they don't even want you there? So they try to get rid of you by putting you in the worst room? There's no excuse for this. The cleaning team should at the very least be penalized for not doing their job. This is a hygiene problem as well as terrible for your reputation, and following this trip I won't ever invest my money in a MyStays chain hotel . Whoever the General Manager of Art Hotels, that person is a liability for the entire company based on this experience.

One of the best hotels in Asahikawa. Especially as part of the MyStays brand, this feels like a stand alone property with higher standards, better service, gym, sauna and room service. Whoever is managing the Art Hotel is doing a great job. I will definitely stay again.

15mins walk from the station, hotel is quite old, booked for gym but it only opens from 11am

It was affordable, so the room was tiny.

Value for money with good buffet breakfast. Our triple room is "large" enough for us to open all our luggage

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast spread is good and comes with a good view.

Small but clean.
