Excellent value for a clean room, a good public bath. Not to mention the popsicles and ramen after bath!

Very authentic Ryokan. Nice and quiet. The Ryokan serves excellent Japanese breakfast and Soba (freshly mad dinner. Service and hospitality was top notch. Onsen was lovely and relaxing.

So I think the room was pretty good for the price, even larger than I thought. The bathroom is pretty small but didn’t really matter to me. Even got room service with fresh towels. They gave a laundry machine, but you have to pay for it and the dryer is hard to use, so I would suggest you use a nearby laundromat, there is one about 10 minutes from the hotel.

The location was fantastic, walking distance from station and on the same block as the main shopping street. This is a small Japanese apartment, so felt a little cramped using the bed and sofa bed. However all important amenities were provided. Great to use the kitchen and laundry facilities. Management company was very professional and responsive. Some dust and hairs were found so would like some more attention to the cleaning.

Though the public bath boasts a modern, serene ambiance, its popularity can be surprising—on one evening, I found myself queuing for a shower cubicle, an unusual experience in such a tranquil setting. But any minor inconvenience was quickly forgotten, thanks to the small, thoughtful touches scattered throughout the hotel. Most memorable was the welcome drink station by the concierge, where Haskap juice—served from a bear motif faucet—offered a burst of refreshing, tangy delight. Breakfast at OMO7 is all about quality over quantity. The buffet may not overwhelm with variety, but each dish, from seasonal delights like salmon on waffles to the perfectly creamy scrambled eggs, feels lovingly curated. It’s a modest spread, but one where every bite counts, making the start to each day a little more special. OMO7 Asahikawa manages to balance fun and sophistication with effortless grace—truly a hidden gem for those looking to explore this lesser-known corner of Japan in style.

Helpful staff and parking is nearby. Easy to access. Good location and quite room.

Our first time using this type of hotel. A bit inconvenient as we need to notify the staff to let us in or out of our room every time. Everything is discreet. Otherwise, nice big clean room unlike the typical Japanese hotels. You must have a car to get to this hotel - free parking provided. Overall great experience, will consider again due to affordability.

Amazing stay with private onsen (selected rooms) and lots of amenities and facilities in an all-in-one integrated stay.

I didn’t look at the map carefully when I made the reservation. It was a place with no clue of where to go.

You need a car for this location. But, the hotel is awesome especially for kids. They have many play spaces, board games, and breakfast can be taken up in the hallway or brought to the room. Very nice home cooked warm meal, and very friendly kitchen lady. And a very huge room and bath.Love my stay and will recommend this hotel.
