Asbury Ocean Club Hotel

From the moment we arrived, Asbury Ocean Club Hotel exceeded every lofty expectation we had set. George and Neil welcomed us with genuine warmth, handling our bags effortlessly and walking us through the property with the kind of thoughtful orientation that makes a guest feel instantly at home. That same care echoed across every corner of the hotel. Our Dune Suite was beautifully appointed, blending modern design with quiet comfort, the perfect retreat after long days by the shore. The pool deck offered sweeping ocean views, the workout facilities were pristine and well equipped, and the drawing room felt like a serene escape, ideal for a quiet morning coffee or an evening unwind with a book. Dining was a true highlight. The bar delivered outstanding cocktails crafted with precision, and the Mother's Day menu stood out as a memorable culinary experience, beautifully plated and full of seasonal flavor. Service throughout was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Asbury Ocean Club delivers genuine five star hospitality in a setting that feels both refined and refreshingly relaxed. We left already counting down to our next visit, and we cannot recommend it more highly.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at this resort was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The property is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and offers breathtaking views. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making our experience memorable. The accommodations were luxurious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the attention to detail throughout the resort, from the well-manicured grounds to the outstanding amenities. The food and drinks were excellent and there was top-notch service!

Everything was fantastic! We love coming here. However, this time around the service was very slow and we had to keep reminding the staff that we ordered. Also, we had to send drinks back multiple times because they didn’t taste right or were flat out wrong. Other than that this place is incredible and we will continue to stay here.

Everything from hotel staff, to amenities to location was phenomenal. My husband and I celebrated my birthday weekend here and it was a beautiful and relaxing weekend. The building is split between the hotel and residences. The floor for all hotel amenities and rooms is the 4th floor. Here is where the indoor bar, lounge, and outdoor pool and bar area is located. The hotel is kept very clean with lots of attentive staff! The outdoor patio and pool area was absolutely beautiful with lots of room for lunch, and a variety of comfy lounging options. The hotel embraced modern coastal vibes and had lots of live music options in the lounge area and at the outdoor patio. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable! There were lots of in-room amenities provided including hair dryer, espresso machine, safe, fridge, desk, slippers/robe, shampoo/conditioner/lotion, etc. if you needed a steamer or iron and ironing board, just call the front desk. We had a partial ocean view on the south side of the building and that was beautiful. We had a view of the Stone Pony and was able to sit out on the balcony for the outdoor concerts to listen to the music. The north side of the building faces a large construction zone - I would ask to NOT be on that side of the building. Locations— the hotel was located just across the street from the boardwalk and ocean. Also, within walking distance to great restaurants. Downtown area is about a 20 minute walk.

No amenities were usable. Rain shuts down the hotel and you are stuck in your room. Then the room service is extremely limited and they don't even bring milk with the coffee. I'm not sure why they charge so much, nothing special about this place. Just a normal beach hotel where you can hear every time your neighbor moves.

Loved everything about this place, from the beach reads left in our room, to the warm staff (go Neal!) to the best turkey club I've ever had in my life. The location can't be beat, onsite spa was lovely, and overall, just truly a stunning stay. 11 out of 10 would recommend.

Most things about our stay were perfect. The very dark hotel office was a little odd. The dinner as such was good. But dinner to us is a meal. Meat or fish a starch and a vegetable. Paying separate for these items is not a Jersey shore thing. Maybe New York City thing. And no oysters? Any place all year has oysters. So yeah. Odd. Maybe could have been complimentary something for our anniversary. 53 years.
