I enjoyed my stay at La Vista Furano which provided good service, very decent room, complimentary and nice onsen (though not genuine hot spring water), free late night ramen, free car park, etc. we chose the eco package (no cleaning service) and it was a short stay of 3 nights only. They provided new towels every day as long as we put the used towels outside of the room at specific time every day. The only thing was they didn’t replenish the rubbish bin bag after we put the rubbish outside the room. They also didn’t replenish the bottled water daily. Hope that can be improved.

It would be nice to have one or two degrees warmer to recover from the muscle pain from skiing. Breakfast was delivered to our room. Pros - 1) Convenient location close to many good eateries (Kumagera, Masaya, Sennari etc), a drugmart and a supermarket. 2) Free parking (30 lots). 3) Our room (777 - where they previously filmed a Korean drama) was spacious, clean and had a great view of the surrounding mountains. 4) Service was great even though English is a tad limited. Cons - 1) TV channels are predominantly in Japanese save for BBC and 1 Chinese channel.

The experience has plummeted! Although the facilities are new and relatively clean in a newly opened hotel, the service is very unsystematic and unprofessional. It's a pity that there is no large communal bath, but it's a gem that doesn't cost 10,000 yen with breakfast despite the top season on Saturday, July 8, adjacent to Biei Station ＆ ”Michi no Eki Oka no Kura”. There is a convenience store in front of the station, and there is a 7-Eleven about 5 minutes walk, so I made a delicious dinner with my favorite side dish ･ ingredients and alcohol. It is also good to base Furano sightseeing, Asahikawa sightseeing, and Tokachidake mountain foot sightseeing. You can enjoy all the sightseeing spots with plenty of room for 2 nights.

A homestay run by the two couples is clean and tidy. The room has a bathroom, but the bath has to go to the first floor. The Western breakfast is good. It is about 3 kilometers away from Meiyi Station. After arriving at Meiyi Station, call the landlord and the landlord will come to pick it up; it will be delivered to the station when you leave. The pension is clean, tidy and very friendly staff. The facilities are modern and the bathroom shower just perfect. Very cute shower cubicle. The staff were incredibly helpful in every way and even dropped my son and me back up to the bus stop on our final morning. In the lounge is a massage chair and foot massager, fireplace and the lounge is very cosy and nice to sit and relax. They have a coffee machine for guests to have at any time (no cafe latte function though). the breakfasts are fantastic and the kitchen ladies so friendly. The 4 resident cats is a nice touch and one is particularly friendly. Cons: very few! Tiny bar fridge in the room, can’t stand a 600ml-1L size bottle, yet there is room for a normal size bar fridge. In the common lounge are glasses, water fountain, kettle, coffee machine, tiny milk pods, tea bags - enough to sit and relax and enjoy. However there are no plates or cutlery (chopsticks present) so when you get take away or re heat 7/11 foods, you have to ask for stuff, but they are very obliging.
