Hotels near Daikanbo, Aso

Very much enjoyed the hospitality. The staff is super friendly and the food served is excellent. Highly recommended.

Perfect house. The views were amazing, it was spacious, the check-in process was easy. 10/10.

After all its fun to do glamping at the site. Only issue, water pipe will be frozen due to the weather.

There is a very large and free parking lot. Onsen is good also there are hot and cold onsen to be chosen.

The outdoor BBQ space was especially good. I would like to use it again.

This place as an absolute gem of a place to stay near Aso. Thank you for the ride to the station and amazing hospitality. I would love to visit again for your fantastic meals, onsen and authentic ryokan experience !

Very beautiful place, and the room was truly excellent: spacious, bright, warm, with impeccable bedding and cleanliness. The bathroom is large and includes a bathtub, and the room is very well equipped (electric kettle, small kitchen, large refrigerator). It was also possible to arrange horseback riding and get onsen tickets, which is a real plus. However, for backpackers, this accommodation is not ideal at all. It is very far from everything: – FamilyMart: about a 27-minute walk – Bus stop: about a 21-minute walk – Mount Aso Museum: around 1h15 total (including 20 minutes on foot) – Aso Station: about a 1h15 walk A small anecdote: we first climbed up to the accommodation carrying our 10 kg backpacks, only to see on the door that check-in is actually done at the bottom. It would be helpful to indicate this more clearly downstairs, or at least make it easier to notice for foreign travelers, as we missed the information 😅 Finally, for those planning to walk to the Aso Museum or hiking areas, the path indicated at the end of the residential area near the accommodation does not exist.

Excellent hot spring facility. The breakfast has plenty of variety and food quality was good. Unfortunately they assigned the incorrect room type to us but that was immediately rectified.

I really enyoy while staying at the hotel. The hotel located near 2 supermarkets that is very comfortable for shopping.

It was a place where you could see Kumamoto Castle right in front. The breakfast was delicious.
