Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Athens

The freaking shower is broke! I struggle to take the main thing I needed other than sleep. And I'm struggling to that as well because the unit creeks loudly and I have an adjoining room where I can here what they are watching. A long with the front desk person and what she is watching! Whatever man! This some ********! And I cant even request a late checkout!

Everything worked well, was super clean, comfortable, and fresh. The parking lot is large and doesn't have any tight, shady, or badly paved spots. Also, it's located close to shopping & dining but not slammed up next to any of it.

This isn't a bad place if you are staying for a night. For this to be located in Athens, they should gear towards families that are visiting and staying the night for the university. I didn't see any breakfast (which is fine, wouldn't have eaten anyway), there was mold in the ceiling if bathroom, the shampoo, conditioner, and lotion was a mix match so im assuming they get by eith what they can, and if you need help at the front desk, then you have to call someone. The room was not well lit and the electrical plugs in the work stations were not secured so when you pull your plug out, the entire socket comes with it. Definitely will not return. For the money, it explains why it was lesser than other hotels. Overall, the room felt dirty and the pillow had black stains on it.

I would not recommend! Parking is limited. People smoking on front steps at entrance. Lobby smells like Pot. No elevator. Stairs and hall carpet badly stained and smells dirty and more Pot. Room was clean but no microwave or hair dryer. Two towels for a double room.

There was no hair dryer, no remote control for the TV, no phone to call them about it and no coffee maker. It was the VERY bare minimum. The towels also were as thin as paper and felt like sand paper. The staff was friendly enough, thank you. The room also smelled of stale smoke. Wyndham has a long way to go to bring this up to their standards.

basic clean hotel with very limited amenities.. Good location, many restaurants around the area.

Room was clean. Would have liked some help with the ice on our windshield like a scraper.

The room smelled like smoke and was a non smoking room very cheap remodel I could only stay in the room for a couple of hours then left. Very nasty and very dirty.
