Nice staff and comfortable rooms. The location is acceptable even though the area is not the best one from Athens.

The hotel is amazing a 10 mins away from the square that has all the restaurants and attractions. Hotel staff is very friendly, specially David, who was very helpful. Last but not least they have a very delicious breakfast. Recommend hotel for a person traveling on budget

Close to tourist places, 10 minutes on foot or 3 minutes from the metro but in a noisy area by the main street, dirty and unsafe. Welcoming and available staff. Clean room and hotel with the necessary amenities. Bedding too soft for us and problems with faulty sockets.

The surrounding area can be dangerous at night, but I am satisfied as it is a good location for sightseeing. Don't go into the alley late at night

Lovely small hotel. Very modern. Room was lovely. Having stayed in a few similar type hotels, this was far better. Decor was minimalist. Room was lovely, I even had a balcony, though I have to say the view was of a back street which wasn't the nicest. Bed was sooooo comfy. Shower room was spacious and clean

We stayed there at the beginning of the week for a 3 day trip. The hotel is clean, comfortable and all new. The building is small, but the rooms are well distributed and offer plenty of space. The name 'chic' suits this hotel perfectly. The staff is polite and will help you with any questions about the city you might have. Nick, who was normally at the reception, was always helpful and kind, and gave us plenty of recommendations and indications for us to visit Athens comfortably. We had the all-you-can-eat breakfast included. There were both salty and sweet options, coffee and juice. Everything we tried was yummy. The hotel is a 5-10 minutes walk away from Monastiraki Square, one of Athens most touristic spots. It is also close to a supermarket, a pharmacy, a couple of bakeries, a 'Souvlaki' tavern and Omonoia metro station. Besides, the stay costs a more than affordable price. I would definitely recommend Chic Hotel to everyone who whises to visit the city. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Quaint hotel on the corner of very busy streets. This is a basic hotel, so expect basic. I was in room 201. The room was large and clean with an en suite. There is a frosted glass door. Note, whilst in the bathroom you cannot see out and no one can see in. However, the traffic was constant throughout the night, it never stopped. The "double glazed" windows were useless at suppressing the noise and I checked to make sure they weren't open. Breakfast was Continental. Lots of cold meats, pastries and yoghurt. You have to pay 1.50 Euro departure tax. Only stay here if you'll be drunk or you're deaf.

David, the receptionist was very good. We asked for recommendations as where to eat local greeknfood. He takes the time to explain where are the xpensive places, popular places and asked what sort of budget we looking for. Hhe recommended a place call Eggs on Rooster, within walking distance where locals go to amd the food was fantastic at very reasonable price. As for the hotel, it's what you pay for. Within walking distance to subway, market amd the square. Breakfast is quite a decent spread. Only set back is the beds are too soft.

A very small hotel with excellent customer service, great breakfast, located not too far from downtown Athens if you like to walk. Very good quality/price ratio. I would recommend and would go again. They are also just a few minutes away from one of the most sensational pastal meals I ever had at Seychelles - be sure to book way in advance - not to be missed restaurant!

We had a delightful experience during our stay at Chic Hotel. Its prime location within walking distance of the city center was incredibly convenient. The room was spotless and comfortable. However, we were slightly taken aback by the extra charge for luggage lockers.

We arrived in reception which was hot due to no air conditioning and stunk of fish. We made our way to our dark and dingy room which we didn’t like at all. As you will see from the photo’s it needs some maintenance to put it kindly. The pillows were extremely thin and the bed wasn’t comfortable at all, so we booked another hotel and left. I gave feedback to reception, handed back our keys and all four of us left with our luggage, however they claim I wasn’t clear with them about my feedback and continued to charge me for our two night stay. If you don’t mind a basic, hostel like room then stay here, otherwise I would suggest you pick somewhere else to stay.

The rooms are dark and dingy, beds not comfortable at all. The worst part was when our driver told it was a very bad neighborhood. We were able to walk thru town and take in the sites and visit the acropolis easily.

Emailed hotel prior to arrive asking about a kettle/cups in our room and was assured this would be available (I wake very early, way before anywhere opens!) no kettle. On asking we were told we would need to use the "restaurant"....this was just the start! Our room was dirty, the shower broken, pipework was coming away from the wall and leaking, and as for the see through glass partitioning the bathroom and rest of the room, we have been married almost 20 years, but draw the line at watching each other sat on the loo!! Room was small, balcony was tiny and dirty, with no seating of any description. Reception staff were rude and unhelpful. We had to ensure any valuables were locked in our suitcases as there is no safe, the fridge has no shelves. We ended up paying room taxes twice as it was not marked as being paid when we arrived. We only stayed for half of our trip, and that was only because we were out all day every day! Bed was uncomfortable, aircon patchy at best, and I am fairly sure bits we had left in drawers (medications etc.) were missing. All in all, this is not even close to a 4 star hotel, it barely scrapes 1 star, avoid at all costs despite the pretty (and very misleading) pictures!

Tastefully designed rooms without cabinet and coffee and tea cooket, with slippers. Modest quantity of breakfast. Staf willing to help. Rooms look like a 4star. Location in city center A woman who called me 3 times has never been connected to my room phone. Even if a lady on the reception couldn't hear thenroom number well, my full name was mentioned so no eccuse at all. Except if the phone didn't work My cellular phone charger disappeared. I forgot it in the room. A guy from the reception called a worker who was cleaninh the room. She said she hadn't found it. Though I left it in the electrical outlet. A guy talled me:" she didn't take it 100 % she's been working here for years". Very unresponsible and unprofessional explanation.
