City Circus Athens Reviews

Initially, I thought I was going to enjoy a 4 to 5 day stay here at the City Circus Hotel. However, quickly any promises made by staff were NEVER kept! The final straw was the fact my son's wife was coming in at 4am and they refused to do an EARLY CHECK-IN @ 6AM for an additional fee. The night manager demanded FULL PAYMENT FROM 5AM TO 11AM [ EQUALS 6 HOURS]. Then I was told I had to leave with 15 minutes because a group of 60 were due to arrive at 2pm. Yet by 3pm no big group arrived....Just more lies NY Myrtle the day manager. I was very disappointed for the poor services and broken promises. I cannot in good conscience recommend the City Circus Hostel to any of my friends or family!!! I won't be back!!!

Extremely satisfied.

The sheets were clean and the staff were all very kind. There is a locker in the room, so it's a good idea to bring a padlock with you. There are no tissues, shampoo, or conditioner. There are many restaurants within walking distance, so the location is good. I'd definitely stay here again if I come to Athens!

Very well located, a very quiet area close to the center with many restaurants and lively streets. The facilities are average, the bathroom is excessively small, and the soundproofing of the windows is poor due to the busy area. Very pleasant and attentive staff.

Overall, it's OK. The room is OK, clean, and has air conditioning, but there are no curtains separating the beds. There is also a separate toilet and bathroom.

I stayed a total of 4 nights! I stayed in both the dormitory and the single room and it was great. The single rooms fill up quickly so it's best to book early! There's also a cafe in the hotel so you can relax and unwind! The staff are all the best! They were so kind and helpful ☺️

Very good hotel, but the washing machine is broken

It is located in the Psiri district, which is full of bars and cafes. However, since it's on the outskirts of the area, it's not that noisy at night. There was a last-minute change, but they were very kind and accommodating over the phone.

The USB interface and lighting on the second-story bed were broken. I changed the connection cable, but the phone could not be charged, which greatly affected the next day's travel itinerary.

The location is a bit odd... but once you get used to it, I don't think it's a bad location... I liked that the staff were friendly~~

There is no curtain between the beds in the mixed room and no privacy protection.
