Novotel Auckland Airport

The location is perfect, right as you exit the airport. The facilities are completely sufficient and fitting for an airport hotel. The breakfast is very generous and delicious. The staff is nice.

Traveling with two kids and catching a 10 AM flight the next day, there's no hotel closer to the departure terminal than this one. The room was alright, but the only drawback was the fixed small table in the middle, which prevented us from pushing the twin beds together. It was quite challenging with two little ones.

Right across the road from the airport, it's super close and perfect for a layover or to recover from jet lag.

I stayed here because I had an early flight at around 6 AM. The front desk is open 24 hours, so checking out at 3:30 AM was not a problem at all! The staff at the front desk were also very kind. I'd love to stay here again if I have the chance!

The service was satisfactory, and check-in and check-out were quick. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast offered a good variety. It's very convenient for domestic and international transfers at Auckland Airport. The nearby outlet mall is great for shopping if you have time, especially for those who enjoy shopping or need to buy clothes and gear for their trip, as outdoor casual wear is easy to find. A large supermarket is not far away, and there are many dining options including McDonald's, KFC, and several other restaurants. The hotel's room service food was delicious. On the second floor of the international terminal, outside security, there are many food options, including noodle soup. In the domestic terminal, near gate one, there's Subway and a coffee shop for breakfast.

This hotel is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk, about 200 meters, from the international terminal. Especially now with Auckland Airport's temporary terminal where you have to queue outside for check-in, the hotel's location is absolutely perfect. Plus, you can even push your airport luggage cart right to your room door. It's also quite easy to transfer from domestic to international flights, with the domestic arrivals a roughly ten-minute walk away.

I landed at midnight and checked into the hotel just one minute after exiting the international arrivals. It was incredibly convenient. The stay was very pleasant and comfortable. Tomorrow, I'm off to explore New Zealand's North Island!
