Auckland City Hotel

Great final stop before flying home. The room was clean, spacious and well set up — more like a small apartment than a standard hotel room, with everything I needed after two weeks on the road. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well. The location is excellent. Easy walk to the waterfront and the city centre, with plenty of places to eat nearby. On-site parking made things simple, and the pricing for it was clear and reasonable — a real bonus in the CBD. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast was a nice way to start the last morning. Excellent value for a central Auckland hotel. Would happily stay here again

Location is great. Just few minutes walk from the sky bus terminal. Walking distance to queen Street and wharf. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Room is big enough for two with cooking equipment. Heating and air conditioning are provided

Hotel location is great, we came off a cruise ship and were able to walk to the hotel also the closeness to the Auckland Tower and absolute plus. Cleanliness could be a bit better in the bathroom, especially in the corners, they were a bit dirty. But the room was good. The staff was amazing. We were there when the cyclone was nearing, and everybody was unsure, what’s gonna happen, I contacted the reception and asked if we can reserve another room for the night in case we needed it and they did that free of charge. Fortunately we did not need it and we could fly home but still very grateful for the offer and amazing service.

Overall it was a great stay at Auckland City hotel.We heard some noises as our room was right in front of a lift but didn't bother us too much. Our room had a partial view of the skytower which was a bonus.the room was spacious as it was an accessible room. The breakfast was really good. I loved Vietnamese noodles very much, super tasty. The croissants were really good as well.
