If it weren't for the enthusiastic, professional, and highly responsible pick-up and drop-off service provided by the two wonderful female drivers, this stay would barely deserve even one star. They were the only staff members who genuinely made me feel welcomed and demonstrated a sense of service during my entire stay, and they absolutely deserve commendation for that. Overall, the actual condition of this hotel significantly deviates from what is showcased on Ctrip. The facilities are extremely outdated, decades old. The carpets in both the rooms and hallways are visibly worn and the hygiene is subpar, making the experience quite uncomfortable. During my stay, the bathroom light fixture was broken, though still勉强 usable. Even more frustrating was the front desk's handling of luggage transfer services. The hotel offers airport transfer, but even when guests were rushing to catch a flight and had very limited time, the hotel rigidly insisted on the rule that 'the guest must accompany the luggage; unaccompanied luggage cannot be sent.' This shows a complete lack of flexibility and service awareness, especially from one foreign front desk staff member who seemed to entirely lack hospitality industry service standards. In the end, to retrieve my luggage, I had no choice but to take an additional taxi back and forth, which cost a significant amount of unnecessary time and money, almost causing me to miss my international flight. Originally, the room rate was over 350 RMB, but with the additional taxi fares (about 5km, an Uber round trip to the hotel cost nearly 50 SGD), the actual expenditure approached 550 RMB. For this price, one could easily find many more comfortable, newer 4-star hotels in Auckland CBD, often including breakfast. Moreover, the airport bus service to and from the city center is very convenient. For future travelers, a word of advice: low ratings often have a valid reason, and high ratings aren't always entirely genuine. I recommend carefully checking recent, authentic reviews before booking and choosing wisely.

The airport shuttle service was great, and both the front desk staff and drivers were very friendly. However, the soundproofing isn't very good; I could clearly hear even slight noises and conversations from the room next door. It's conveniently located, only a ten-minute walk to the town center.

There's nothing around. Maybe that's a good thing? It's true that access and convenience are poor. But if you're just looking for a place to stay, it's a good spot to relax.

The guest rooms were impeccably clean at this hotel. Amenities provided were towels, a hairdryer, and small bottles of shampoo and body wash. I recommend bringing your own toothbrush and face wash, etc.
