Braemar on Parliament St

Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality, John. Your place is warm, quiet, and absolutely gorgeous, perfectly located in the heart of Auckland. It’s so convenient to catch a glimpse of the Sky Tower, University, and Queen Street. Five stars for everything, especially the breakfast! 难得订到如此环境的可宠酒店，120年的历史老房，那种古色古香的味道还有老约翰的精心准备的丰盛早餐，让人有种如至宾归的感觉。位于奥克兰市中心，近皇后街天空塔和奥克兰大学，来奥克兰值得停留一晚的地方。 毕竟是木制老房子，走过偶尔有咯吱咯吱的响声还有水龙头是一冷一热，稍微有些不便

This is a place with character. John was great, and I enjoyed everyone I met, both staff and guests. The room was exactly what I needed, clean, restful, and with a definite history. Loved it!

What a great place!! Beautiful building, great location, informed and informative host (John) and a good breakfast that will set you up for the day. Recommend it to anyone.

The Braemar on Parliament Street is a treasure from another time when the world was slower and craftsmanship and quality meant something. You'll be seated at a breakfast table with other guests in a truly delightful room with china tea cups, handmade wooden furnishings and a generous breakfast made just the way you like it! If you're looking for one of those carbon copy hotels. This is not for you. But, if you want a unique experience; this has something in every corner! And, one of the best places to start is with the host -- John! He's a veritable encyclopedia of stories of the building and places to see, eat and visit!

The room was beautiful, as was the whole BnB. The hosts were wonderful and so accommodating and gave us suggestions on places of interest. Braemar is on the historic register and is full of beautiful antiques and interesting paintings and books to peruse. It is in an excellent location, being in the city center and close to the harbor and ferry. Breakfast was delicious and the overall ambiance is wonderful. I highly recommend this to everyone coming to Auckland.
