Hotel Van Zandt

Great location, beautiful hotel, and such a fun vibe. 10/10 would stay here again.

There’s nothing I don’t like about the Van Z, adding the bar downstairs is just incredible. I love it so much more. Had shrimp and grits on Saturday night at the Upstairs bar it took a little bit too long, but the woman that brought it to me was very apologetic, which there was no need. I had no problem waiting, as the bar service was great and the band was great. I like to tip the Valet guys, so I went to the ATM on the lobby level, and the lights that are on the ground to the left to the right of the ATM shine up, making it hard to read the keys, push buttons on the actual ATM machine Other than that, the Van’s zt, Spot on as usual Might be back there next weekend or the weekend after

Would recommend booking after their restaurant renovation is complete if you want R and R. Construction starts at 7am sharp. When the issue was brought up to their staff, they were well aware and construction as well as noise resumed the very next morning without delay.

Great hotel with friendly and relaxed vibe. Front desk staff always helpful. Excellent bar and restaurant. Didn’t get to use pool area but it looks a good spot for relaxation. The bars of Rainey Street are on the doorstep and it is an easy walk or uber to other downtown locations.

Very comfortable rooms and excellent staff. Unfortunately the restaurant was under construction and unavailable.

Clean room, they seemed understaffed due to SXSW that week, the desk would answer 50/50 of the time if I called for room service valet etc

Everything was great - especially the front desk and general cool vibes - but breakfast took a long time to come to the room and was cold by the time it got there. Happened twice.

Lobby is nice but rooms need attention. AC worked on and off and carpet appeared worn. I wanted to charge my car over night but no one seemed to know how to help me. We attempted to use the QR code to call for our car and it didn’t work three times. I reserved the larger room on ********** but did not get that room. $15 complimentary money can not be spent in room. Was told different when I arrived.

A wonderful experience, as advertised. The entire staff were extraordinary and accommodating!
